  1. If they have the appropriate sick notes no problem, if they havent then I am sure Peterborough will be declined any facility. As for being too honest I believe Rathbone made no great secret of the chain of events leading up to Holder riding for Torun and they absoloutly shafted him. Jake Knight was another who told the truth and got a ban.
  2. No that’s unfortunate but it’s not those 5 that’s raising the concern is it , it’s Perks gone home to Australia and Andersen gone on holiday My understanding is riders are contracted until the 31st October. It’s clear Redcar haven’t reported either rider for withholding services otherwise they would have appropriate facilities rather than NL 6 pointers. As a lot of the Redcar supporters are saying “they won’t be going”
  3. Fairly but you can never say for sure, to be fair not too many thought Ipswich would beat Sheffield in the semis.
  4. And of course it’s letting down the paying public which was another point levelled at Peterborough. You cannot have it both ways.
  5. No grapes needed just consistency, all teams treated the same. Bit like riders missing shared events, seems ok for Lambert but not for Cook.
  6. Not on FIM duty GP isn’t until 27th/28th, he cannot even claim travelling as he is already there.
  7. So as I understand it Redcar’s team includes 6 guests 2 of which are NL riders and RR for Charles Wright. Perks has returned to Australia and Andersen to Sweden and both are missing with the full permission of the Redcar management. It will be interesting to see what the BSPA/SCB make of this bearing in mind of the fuss they made of just one rider missing from the Peterborough team recently.
  8. What’s better is how can Ipswich use RR for a rider that’s fully fit to race, on his admission.
  9. Oh yeah it was changed It used to be Fridays & Sundays Now it’s Sundays & Fridays
  10. Have you tried emailing the club, or the Barbers who run our trackshop.
  11. Because Godfrey is unlikely to meet his pay requirements
  12. Well clearly at some point it was sanctioned, otherwise we wouldn’t have been allowed to use him, it’s the constant jumping through hoops that’s starting to grate, same with Harris this year but of course everyone then had no problem using him as a guest. You don’t know the half of it.
  13. Friends in high places, just out of interest has he ever rode in a BSPA shared event.
  14. Interesting that you say that because it looked an awful crowd on BT, I suppose we will soon know because if they lost money on it no doubt it will be binned for next year.
  15. BSPA & Peterborough websites now showing Ipswich KOC Final leg as Thursday 26th October
  16. Not heard anything yet, not looking good for the first leg of the final at yours on Thursday, perhaps next Thursday ?
  17. The problem is the first meeting can set you up for months bearing in mind the opening crowd for our match against Coventry this year, putting clubs in serious financial differculties at the start benefits no one especially if the club then subsequently goes under.
  18. No it was Colin Horton that bounced Andersen’s cheques, Rick Frost sorted it when he took over.
  19. And that’s exactly were this venom comes from doesn’t it, you blame anything and everything Peterborough for the loss of the Cheetahs I don’t recall sticking up for Horton, Peterborough yes but I am no Horton fan, either of them.
  20. He isn’t gullible he is just vindictive like his boss Godfrey. Waste of space the pair of them.
  21. Inclined to agree, he looked very good until his bike went bang, poor night by his standards but it’s rare for him.
  22. Think it’s more to do with an another event finishing around 5pm. Genuine question, did Glasgow ever say or did we get an official reason to why Bewley & Smith rode for Belle Vue Colts the other week instead of Glasgow. Was wondering why they are not riding for Belle Vue today.
