I understand Guests have been a problem this year with some of the demands being bloody ridiculous. A lot want a fixed amount rather than points money, whilst I can understand reserves wanting a minimum paid 3 irrespective of what they score, some of the demands from heat leaders has been scandalous, what’s worse is it’s clear from some of the matches I have watched some of these superstars have then turned in a half hearted or poor performance.

But if it’s the same riders in both leagues how can you make it all one big league, where do the extra riders come from?

Speaking from personal experience trying to rearrange fixtures during the season which enables both teams to track full 1-7,s is practically impossible because of doubling up/down, foreign commitments, FIM meetings, grasstrack, and other reasons illness/family etc. It’s clear from speaking to other clubs and the comments from others in the star everyone is in the same boat, splitting the Premiership and Championship will help significantly but it won’t solve everything.
