  1. Holders been a star this year, looking forward to him and Harris in a few heat 15's now.
  2. Track update - Showground was very dry this morning and they have been watering the track since this morning as usual but the forecast gives a chance of showers this afternoon.
  3. Bit of rain overnight but now brightening up and looking like a nice day.
  4. What was really interesting is that the texter said the track was tricky, which I seem to recall was the word used by our team at Foxhall. Clearly their is more than one type of tricky, then of course their is Lakeside which is slicky tricky and technically bloody ridiculous.
  5. Bit of a trappers paradise last night and very little good racing, reminded me of Prague which is another dreadful race track.
  6. Certainly should at Peterborough, he loves the track and rides it very well.
  7. No that's Flyin Panther, well the brown bits anyway.
  8. Attendances have been dreadful on Tuesdays in the past and the management are naturally keen to avoid fixtures that end up costing them a fortune (understandably) which is why we avoid weekdays in general. Available dates for Sundays, Fridays and Bank Holidays are very limited due to other events at the Showground with an increased fixture list this year not helping at all. Doubling up clashes, overseas and world championships etc cause immense rescheduling problems as you will appreciate when involving 14 riders associated promoters and team managers. I have recommended several times that the Premiership and Championship run on different race nights, it would end the doubling up problems overnight. What evidence do you have that the BSPA listen to anyone.
  9. Perhaps you can introduce yourself to me or Ged at the next meeting and we can attempt to explain the situation which you think could and should have been avoided.
  10. You have never been involved in planning speedway fixtures have you.
  11. To be fair our own three didn't do too bad despite what some on here think, Branford apart the guests were rubbish.
  12. Your top 5 are currently averaging nearly 38.00.
  13. I have attended the last the last three Scunthorpe v Peterborough meetings and seriously doubt any of them got a crowd in excess of 300.
  14. Peterborough v Workington on the 29th May is now a 7.00pm start.
  15. Yes but the trouble was we expected him to race.
  16. Campton isn't riding Morris rides at Reserve for the injured BWD, RR for Hansen whilst Bjerre covers for Holder at 1.
  17. Showground track was okay today and in very good nick apparently, which was a little surprising bearing in mind it rained all day on Wednesday.
