  1. BSPA Website Monday SCB STATEMENT: REDCAR v GLASGOW MONDAY JUNE 05, 2017 The Speedway Control Bureau Co-Ordinator Neil Vatcher has declared the result of the Redcar versus Glasgow Fixture on Thursday 1st June. Redcar 24 Glasgow 32 Therefore awarding: Redcar 0 League Points - Glasgow 4 League Points The basis of this decision is as per Speedway Regulation 15.12, where in exceptional circumstances where the result is mathematically sure, following referral to the SCB, the meeting may be awarded. With Glasgow 8 points in front and with heat 10 only having the 2 Glasgow riders competing, due to the exclusion of the 2 Redcar riders, Redcar would have been unable to have closed the 8 point gap at the conclusion of Heat 10, even if the 2 Glasgow riders had not finished the race. With the unfortunate time delay due to extensive damaged to the Redcar Safety Fence, and the unavailability of the Redcar Paramedic as he was attending to the injured Redcar rider Corty Garcia, this fixture was abandoned at the curfew time of 10pm.
  2. Yes of course it is, Godfrey is on the MC who make the decision, totally above board as always.
  3. I was there. The track was complete rubbishe after the rain and it flooded both the first and third bends, it was bloody obvious to most that it was never going to be raceable but Godfrey and his track staff gave it a good go at which the referee and the two captains decided no thanks and it was called off, it was also clear from comments made from both sets of riders that none of them wanted it to continue.
  4. Indeed, surely their is a diamond fan on her somewhere
  5. Averages are easily manipulated both by riders and clubs, some teams pay bonus points and others do not, the less matches their are the easier it is to manipulate it. All Championship matches League, Play Offs and KO Cup should be included and 6 home and 6 away is the absolute minimum that should be used for new averages and to be fair it should be more, in addition the far biggest cheat is riders coming into the league on frankly ridiculous assessed averages, other than British riders with British Passports the minimum anyone should come into the Championship is 7.00.
  6. Any Scunthorpe weather updates appreciated as I can see quite a few Panthers supporters intending to travel to this.

  8. From the rules this year SGB PREMIERSHIP & CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE KNOCK-OUT CUP All Meetings, including the Semi-Finals and Final are decided upon the aggregate score of both the home and away legs. In the event of a tie in aggregate, provided the 2nd leg took place before August 1st then the Tie will be replayed, thereafter the outcome of any tie will be determined by Golden Heats Format.
  9. 10. BWD 8th match was Friday at Edinburgh so should have a new average effective this coming Friday
  11. Holders been a star this year, looking forward to him and Harris in a few heat 15's now.
  12. Track update - Showground was very dry this morning and they have been watering the track since this morning as usual but the forecast gives a chance of showers this afternoon.
  13. Bit of rain overnight but now brightening up and looking like a nice day.
  14. What was really interesting is that the texter said the track was tricky, which I seem to recall was the word used by our team at Foxhall. Clearly their is more than one type of tricky, then of course their is Lakeside which is slicky tricky and technically bloody ridiculous.
  15. Bit of a trappers paradise last night and very little good racing, reminded me of Prague which is another dreadful race track.
  16. Certainly should at Peterborough, he loves the track and rides it very well.
