I would have thought Brady Kurtz will replace Morris if he isn't fit. -
Peterborough V Berwick 23/6/17

I bet Berwick supporters are ecstatic what with the best paramedics and track covers, shame about the team though. -
Both teams at full strength for what should be a absorbing contest, Glasgow have the riders to make it difficult and have an impressive away record this season and with results not always going the Panthers way recently they will be desperate to avoid another home defeat. Weather forecast is good and meeting starts at 5.00pm

I agree and talking to friends I didn't find any of them happy with Schlein riding in our British Championship Final, the fact that our best hope in years (Lambert) wasn't in it and we gave places away to an Australian and others who couldn't score a point beggars belief. The top 8 riders should be seeded, the fact that they are not is surely down to the BSPA wanting to sell the semi finals and I dare say Woffinden might well ride if it was just one meeting. As you say the sport in this country has a credibility crisis and this farce does nothing to help, I dare say the attendance might well have been a lot better Monday if all the top British riders were in attendance.

I can certainly see Lambert as one of the reserves and Stevie Worrall could easily be the second, with Cook missing as well makes a rather large hole in Workingtons and Newcastles chances.

Nothing on Leicester or Ipswich web sites, crap PR -
Peterborough have Zach Wajtnecht guesting in place of the injured Simon Lambert whilst Scunthorpe bring in Todd Kurtz for the missing Lewis Kerr (doubling up with Somerset) and have Ben Hopwood at no 7 for the retired Josh Bailey. Weather is bright sunshine at the moment and the forecast is for a lovely warm evening.

I have been following this sport since 1970 and the rules NEVER HAVE BEEN CLEAR. It needs a complete overhaul and the whole thing written clearly in plain English. -

Not everyone likes to ride wide at Peterborough and we always used to say it sorts the men out from the boys, whether that applies to Bacon I don't know but I am sure he has been told by some of the others. -

I think a lot if the team have given him advice on riding wide but he just doesn't seem keen to do it. -

I agree, hard to believe Somerset binned him for Kerr. -

I think the mix of averages mentioned is more for riders with assessed averages rather than established ones but averages and points limits always have played a major part in the UK speedway scene. As for an issue that could have been dealt with over winter, Buster mentioned the rulebook needing overhauling when he was elected chairman, here we are 18 months or more down the line and nothing's changed and I dare say nothing will. We will see but on paper it looks very tidy. -

Ulrich's new GSA is 6.33 which puts him at no 5 on the 12th June. -

And to put it into prospective he is the highest average no 5 in the Championship. Maybe not the rider he once was but he will still knock in the occasional match winning contribution and could play a big part in any success this year. -
I should think most clubs have talked to him at some point especially on that average, I would think it's very much Brady's choice that he doesn't double up over here.

Well let's be fair we are 18 months into office and as you say things are worse now than when he started. Personally I would have started with the rulebook which to be fair is nothing but a rough guide which over half of the referees interpret differently and a lot of the club management don't know well enough.
