  1. I can think of a lot of Peterborough fans that are now a lot happier, Hall was hopeless, perhaps he should have bought the new engine from the start.
  2. Certainly used to be the case but cannot find it mentioned on in this years Regulations
  3. Whilst riders can make an ERR at any time as of course can referees
  4. What a truly dreadful track and not what I expected on the first night of the Premiership. Belle Vue were the better team and deserved the points but I was surprised Klindt was given 4 rides as it was fairly obvious he wasn't fit.
  5. I would have thought Brady Kurtz will replace Morris if he isn't fit.
  6. I bet Berwick supporters are ecstatic what with the best paramedics and track covers, shame about the team though.
  7. Both teams at full strength for what should be a absorbing contest, Glasgow have the riders to make it difficult and have an impressive away record this season and with results not always going the Panthers way recently they will be desperate to avoid another home defeat. Weather forecast is good and meeting starts at 5.00pm
  8. I agree and talking to friends I didn't find any of them happy with Schlein riding in our British Championship Final, the fact that our best hope in years (Lambert) wasn't in it and we gave places away to an Australian and others who couldn't score a point beggars belief. The top 8 riders should be seeded, the fact that they are not is surely down to the BSPA wanting to sell the semi finals and I dare say Woffinden might well ride if it was just one meeting. As you say the sport in this country has a credibility crisis and this farce does nothing to help, I dare say the attendance might well have been a lot better Monday if all the top British riders were in attendance.
  9. I can certainly see Lambert as one of the reserves and Stevie Worrall could easily be the second, with Cook missing as well makes a rather large hole in Workingtons and Newcastles chances.
  10. They could easily have said a late decision will be made on whether he rides or not.
  11. Day of the meeting and no Newcastle PR yet, perhaps they were hoping to keep it quiet about Worrall not riding. Glasgow could easily dent your play off charge tonight.
  12. Peterborough have Zach Wajtnecht guesting in place of the injured Simon Lambert whilst Scunthorpe bring in Todd Kurtz for the missing Lewis Kerr (doubling up with Somerset) and have Ben Hopwood at no 7 for the retired Josh Bailey. Weather is bright sunshine at the moment and the forecast is for a lovely warm evening.
  13. I have been following this sport since 1970 and the rules NEVER HAVE BEEN CLEAR. It needs a complete overhaul and the whole thing written clearly in plain English.
  14. Not everyone likes to ride wide at Peterborough and we always used to say it sorts the men out from the boys, whether that applies to Bacon I don't know but I am sure he has been told by some of the others.
  15. I think a lot if the team have given him advice on riding wide but he just doesn't seem keen to do it.
  16. I agree, hard to believe Somerset binned him for Kerr.
