He is a fabulous talent on a bike and his commitment and dedication to his GP meetings is great unfortunately his commitment to GB isn't and until he changes his mind and makes himself available for the British team, British Championship and league racing in the UK it won't change. British Speedway is at a low ebb but the recent drive to establish new British talent should be continued and our National Championships and National team should be entirely staffed by British riders who commit over here and not to other countries riders just because they live over here.

Good point but I supposed his average fitted the gap left.

Yes but the point SCB is making is you can only ever get 3 extra points off a TR. -

I agree, a cracking GP and some brilliant riding, Hancock and Pedersen at the moment don't look the same riders as last year. Stadium looked pretty full as well. -
That's true but the respective rule particularly mentions riders not having an established average when teams re declare, which suggests to me that's it's aimed at teams with riders on assessed averages trying to gain an advantage.
-
I think that applies to riders who started this year without an established average.

Newcastle were the better team tonight, R Lambert and Worrall were both outstanding and the Panthers top end apart from Starke couldn't live with them. The track wasn't great and was certainly slicker than usual but being honest it produced some fantastic racing and this was one of the best meetings so far this year. Another great crowd as well.

And it's 19 years and counting for the witches which is quite a spell. -
Well if the crowds drop off and they end up losing a packet over the season it's not a hard one is it, I don't know what the fans make of it all but for a club and supporters used to winning and success I don't see them enjoying this much.

Management and most supporters prefer 5.00pm, unfortunately other events at the Showground on match days dictate a later start. -

MDL 6 heat match afterwards between Peterborough & Milton Keynes but I still think it's likely to be all done by 9.30pm -

No he shouldn't, been there read the book seen the film and watched him score bugger all at most away tracks. Roynon has been struggling for the last 5 years, it doesn't matter what position he rides at. The rules say 2 riders who have competed in or are eligible to ride in the NL. -
I would have thought on his current form he is more likely to get offered a place in the National League, he can actually ride Eastbourne and Lakeside.

Ipswich Witches Vs Glasgow Tigers Thurs 4th May C1

The problem with that is Grasstrack commitments would likely mean no facility which basically calls means a 6.00 pt NL rider. -
To be fair I have now heard they will have a 1.4 conversion applied for riders going from Premiership to Championship
