I was told by my postman that some of the magazine mail is held back sometimes at the discretion of the sorting office, my star was very haphazard in being delivered until I complained to the local manager, funnily enough it's been as regular as clockwork since then, the only factor which can affect my delivery is bank holidays sometimes making it a day late. As for the articles I still think most are a good read, clearly when you use a lot of different contributors the standard can vary as in all jobs but overall I think it's good value and having read it for 46 years I don't anticipate giving it up anytime soon.

Unfortunately the BSPA make a habit of this sort of thing and it isn't helpful, it could and should be properly explained, at the least it would stop a lot of the flak they get on here.

Really, well what a surprise. -
Great rider but complete lack of common sense, unfortunately Tai the world does not revolve around you and British speedway certainly doesn't, let's be fair you cannot even be bothered to ride over here most of the time. What a surprise the BSPA said no, you don't even qualify for one yet. Do a few more season has over here, ride in the British Championship and for GB and I dare say the BSPA will say yes.

Berwick 2017 50th Year

I completely agree, season tickets should apply to all matches including play offs, cup finals etc. Peterborough ST do not cover Semis and Finals but offer reduced admission for these matches. -

No I wouldn't, past his best, serious injuries and a disrupting influence in a team who is well known for not liking wet conditions. Your welcome to him, I see him as a big gamble. -

Much of what's best been said about Schlein was said about Kerr last year and he was quickly dropped by the witches, I think Covatti, Newman and Heeps have found their level, both the youngsters have age on their side and should improve whilst King is a class act at this level but unlikely to add much if anything at all. It's not a bad side but the real gamble is Schlein, if he comes good they could shine but if he doesn't the tail could wag a bit. -

Not at Workington though I suspect -
Assuming of course that the credible manager who is putting the team together attended the AGM or was told of the rule change by someone who did. Not all promoters attend the AGM because of a limit on attendance.

I am with SCB on this one, any riders coming into the UK should be assessed on a 7.00 whether they are a European, American or Australian.

The problem is total self interest, it needs someone independent with a good knowledge of the sport and its problems.

We live in hope shawn -
Interestingly enough I have had this discussion with our programme compilers several times and they insist sales are always a lot more when teams in riding order are not given out by club press releases, doesn't make any difference to me I have used an iPad programme for matches for a few years but my wife gets a programme by virtue of her season ticket. Our promotion gets nothing from the concessions as it's all organised by our Showground landlords, which is why beer, drinks and food are pricey.

Swindon not running Thursdays on GP weeks I have been told so shouldn't be much if a problem if the fixture compiler is on the ball. -
Personally I think he will do well to cover his 7.00 point starting average.
-
Who could argue with that, it certainly wouldn't do any harm to the British lads

To be fair I think it's more likely we will win at your track I rather think the management have given a lot of thought to the make up of this years team taking into account how previous teams have done from being solid or top heavy, the 2017 is clearly solid with a good reserve at all times coupled with the arrival of two Showground specialists, their cannot be many 2017 sides who can say with any optimism that all 7 can increase their starting averages. -
Crap PR and I bet the ST sales are going really well.

Not what I have heard

Their are not enough riders willing to ride in the UK for one league, plus it would shift the balance of power back to the riders which would ensure prices go up and clubs ending up like Belle Vue, Leicester and Plymouth amongst others. -

Sheffield have six doubling up it appears -
Certainly what I am hearing.

He was dreadful for Panthers this year
-
I can only agree, that's a terrible tail, Roynon as your number 4, I wouldn't have him at reserve.

I said last year Covatti would find it harder in the main body and so it proved Schlein is a big risk after his injuries and Heeps didn't exactly kick on at Rye did he. Its not looking to be a bad team but title contenders we will see, I just cannot see the big improvers apart from Hume.
