  1. Can't find details of any Swedish clubs he's in. All I can see are his Danish team Fjelsted and Czestochowa & Wroclaw in Poland
  2. Other peoples actions? Olly Allen was 100% at fault for his crash on Friday
  3. I agree, but the previous poster isn't a Rye House fan and would possibly not know it was a DH meeting. I was just being informative, not trying to put people off going. The more the merrier!!
  4. That's just a feeling I have. The new owner has plans to use the stadium as a multi motor sport venue. Be warned, the BH Monday fixture is a PL/NL double header with £20 adult admission
  5. Depends on the shape of the track. Suits Sheffield, Somerset & Peterborough, but not Newcastle & Rye House.
  6. Can't make it to the EWR this year with my team, on holiday. May make the Berwick meeting though if the other half fancies it. Look forward to seeing this bloke race
  7. Never seen him race. Is he that wobbly?
  8. Should've saved the money spent on stadium improvements and just bought a giant tent
  9. Easy to get to by road, loads of car parking and plenty of seating. The race track ain't too bad either. On paper it should be a success
  10. No, just 3 junior riders including the team mascot. Think it was 3 races they had, one before heat 15 and a couple after.
  11. That's gonna be more of an issue than Kennett
  12. If he's hitting the deck as much as mentioned the fuel bill will be low
  13. Get a few large cages installed somewhere at the back of the stadium for anyone who wants to bring their dog and charge em a fiver. Problem solved. Would also be handy for when Cradley move up to the PL. Wait until you meet their fans
  14. I feel justified in my criticism after spending hundreds of my hard earned, travelling thousands of miles to watch them last year
  15. There was me thinking I was the most pessimistic Rye fan, then along came Chris
  16. It's a little too early to get too excited, but there's definitely a buzz around the place now. Even the new owner is walking around with a smile on his boat. Thinking back to this time last year and the doom and gloom around the place it's a good feeling, even after 3 wins on the trot.
  17. That's a little unfair on Len Silver. (did I really say that?) There's a good chance that Lakeside would've shown Edward the door if Len had put his foot down and insisted he rides for the Rockets when there is a fixture clash. We could've had one pi$$ed off team captain and look what that did to us last year. Catch 22 situation, not a lot he could do in my opinion.
  18. That's a little too simplistic..... Ipswich's "weakened team" had five riders with more laps around Rye House than both of our new boys Robin and Nikolaj. In fact it was Nikolaj's first competetive races around there. Most if not all of your side had had competetive races before last Saturday. Only Edward Kennett, to my knowlege, had had any Peterborough were missing Simon Lambert and Olly Allen only had a couple of rides, but who's to say it would've made made any difference to the result had Lambert not been elsewhere and Allen hadn't had taken that alarming crash? Perhaps the scores would've been closer, but I'd have still fancied us for the win, especially with Nikolaj having his first look at the place and scoring so well all round the team. Kennett would've scored as many if not more than Masters on previous form round there. Somerset were weakened by the loss of Charles Wright, I'll grant you that, but a 17 point win against 5,12 & 21 point home defeats last year...that's a hell of a turnaround! My friends will tell you I'm one of the most pessimistic Rockets fans you can find, but even I can see that this is no way a bottom three side. We're aiming a lot higher than that.
  19. Seems not. Looking further ahead to 2016, with the way Nikolai Busk Jakobsen has started we could be in the awkward position of having two 8 point riders by the end of this year. Someone will have to make way
  20. The last thing we want is an unhappy rider.
  21. When Anders Mellgren was asked when the Swedish speedway season started he shrugged his shoulders
