  1. It's not just abroad. Some riders don't get paid over here I disagree. If the likes of Cook, King & Stead are made to choose between PL & EL and they chose the latter, the PL will be left weaker.
  2. Very interesting statement with a glaring error in the second paragraph. I feel for the promotion in the respect that last years "sponsors" failed to pay over all or some of the money (it's not made clear) despite taking advantage of the clubs hospitality and gaining publicity for their business. Perhaps the promotion have learned from this and received the 2015 sponsorship money up front
  3. Don't get the obsession some people have with wanting riders to race abroad. Perhaps the likes of Kennett & King are happy with their life. Kennett gets regular EL rides and holds down a job in the winter. Riding abroad would incur a lot more expense with the extra equipment etc..
  4. The club were asking silly money just for advertising the SC on one of the foam fence sections
  5. Impressive. Well done to all concerned
  6. Why on earth do you let the Workington troll get under your skin? Most of what he posts is bull$hit. Have you not grasped that yet?
  7. I think he's settled nicely in NZ, but you never know.... Jacobs taking a year out of the sport Haha, very funny
  8. Have you tried the fish from Rye this year? I hear it's much improved Rye House are looking for one, maybe two reserves
  9. The way your track is set up it's a garters paradise. Doesn't take long to work it out.
  10. I'm afraid Dekker is correct. Teams used to hate going to Berwick, now they're going there looking to win.
  11. Still too early to get disheartened Berwick fans. We were cock-a- hoop at Rye after 3 good wins on the bounce, then a home loss to Peterborough and it's all gloom and doom. A stunning 66-24 last night and everything is rosy in the garden again. I'm told you kick off your PL campaign next week. A nice tasty win there and that could kick your season off.
  12. Only Jack Holder can come away from Rye satisfied with his performance. Couldn't gate for toffee, but on the pace and battled for every point. Fisher was absolute pony. Nowhere near the pace and a complete let down. Despite the score line there was some decent close racing. The guest reserves were pretty decent, Sarjeant more so than Graversen. Good to see the bar packed out after the meeting.
  13. Is the VIP Club running a free mini bus to Edinburgh next Friday?
  14. Plymouth absolute gash tonight and we were on it from the start.
  15. Nobody at reserve who will score anything like that for Berwick
  16. Sun is blazing down between the clouds now, so it all looks good for tonight. Hope last weeks track problems have been rectified. The last thing you need is pi$$ed off riders.
  17. How did the attendance look? Was surprised to see such low crowds at the OTA last year, in comparison to previous years, especially with the team doing so well.
