Attention seeking

One of the joys of supporting a NL side is seeing the progression of young riders through their career. Some make it, some don't. You can usually tell the ones that will come good, Tai Woffinden is the best example. His success was a no brainer with his background, support and obvious talent. Can't wait to see how our youngsters cope.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fully behind the policy of mixing experienced riders and novices. Should be an interesting season. Looking forward to it.

I fear these boys will struggle, but couldn't be in better hands to continue their development. Gotta start somewhere I s'pose

It's the usual Bandits pre season fervour, I'm used to it. It generally turns to apathy by the middle of May, save a couple of seasons in the mid 2000's and right up to the play offs last year.

I don't know why people are getting worried about the stadium developments . There will be plenty of places to watch the action from until the works are completed. It's not as if they'll be putting the "stadium full" signs up

Pretty sure the Conference League was running then. I'd lost all interest in speedway after Rye closed in 1993, only getting back into it in 2000.

Won the league in 1994 & 95. KOC winners in 1995. Not sure, but I think they were at Berrington

There will always be a supporters club as long as there is speedway at Berwick.
