  1. Hmmmm, anyone surprised that there are possible team places available elsewhere and Garrity slaps in a transfer request? Obviously been tapped up by another promotion. The bigger surprise was that he was named in the Rockets side in the first place after last years nonsense. Any Rye House regular could see he wasn't exactly busting a gut for most of last year, even taking into consideration he was returning from a broken leg. Alarm bells were ringing before the 2014 season had even started when he phoned to say he wouldn't be showing up for press & practice. A swift warning from Silver that if he didn't show up he wouldn't be riding for anyone did the trick. Garrity briefly showed up for a few photos, then buggered off to Coventry. He has undoubted talent, but not the attitude to match unfortunately. Interesting to see where he'll end up. Happy to see Anders returning. A really nice approachable guy with no ego
  2. Happy with that reserve pairing Comets fans?
  3. It's usually on the Friday & Saturday immediately before the first meeting. In this case it should be 13th/14th March
  4. Barker will be worth the admission money alone. Less pressure on Vissing & Doolan away from the number one spot. Jorgensen is a concern looking at his recent Berwick scores and you're very light at reserve away from home. I know absolutely nothing about the Slovenian
  5. I hope it ain't over priced rubbish. I was lucky enough to eat at the original Ramsdens in Guiseley, near Leeds around 1995, before they became a franchise. The meal was superb. I later visited a couple of Ramsdens after they'd branched out and was pretty disappointed.
  6. What was the standard of the other riders?
  7. Looks like we'll have a battle for the wooden spoon this year
  8. The fish at Rye House now the stadium lease has been sold to new owners
  9. Benji Compton?http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/13966/national-league-riders-championship-house
  10. My first meeting was a double header in 1985 and there have been many since. I feel sorry for the NL lads who will be faced with a very slick track
  11. Nope! http://www.ryehouserockets.co/fixtures15
  12. There are only 6 stand alone Raiders meetings according to the fixture list. There are as many PL/NL double headers, maybe more if there are any rain offs
  13. He's on holiday. Give him a break (not literally)
  14. I have a feeling Andrew may be in France on the annual Silver Ski jolly, so don't expect any team news until he returns. Didn't hear any bikes at Rye yesterday (25th), although the weather was fine
  15. I presume the promotion will be passing some of the money raised to the riders as the supporters club have been doing in the past
  16. Luke Bowen will put a point and a half on his 3.96 average until Jakobsen drops to reserve
  17. Promoters have been flouting the rules for a couple of years. This is the authorities slapping them on the wrist
