Don't be fooled by the spin. The VIP Club is the promotions way of wrestling control and money away from the supporters club.
Can't see the logic in joining both, so it's gonna be up to the individual to make an informed choice. Trouble is, the ordinary Berwick fan doesn't know all the facts.
Mostly processional. You're not missing much
I'm sure it was just an oversight. Perish the thought that the promotion would be pushing their VIP club to the determent of the supporters club
They had some form of motor racing while Rye was closed to speedway between 1994 & 2000. In the early days, before Len Silver purchased the stadium, they had to lay and take up the shale before and after every speedway meeting
He was taking the mickey out of Kennett a few years back. Every year he targets me. I tried to hide from him in the hospitality box last year, but he spotted me.
I don't think it's anything to get excited about. Nobody takes any notice of him do they?
Edward Kennett in a swop deal with Jason Garrity going to Coventry. No question over who has priority over Kennett now. Can't imagine Lakeside will be pleased
Agree with both of you. No point in holding onto someone who doesn't wanna be there. Full marks to both promotions for getting the deal done quickly, unlike other promotions who spat out the dummy and dragged their heels.
Interesting to see if Garrity gets a PL team place.
Could be a number of reasons. Perhaps Andrew didn't fancy the day to day running of the promotion. The stadium needs a lot of work doing, very costly. Most speedway promotions don't own the stadium they use.
