Silver wants more meetings at Rye House, so an NL team could be a possibility. Probably along the lines of Scunny, but with one or two more experienced riders in the side. Very quiet on the Rockets side. We've usually heard something by now

He was talking about it himself for most of the season. I think he'll be off to Glasgow, but Scunny would be a decent option

I don't know where this myth about the adverse camber at Rye House disappearing came from. It's still there, believe me. Chris is spot on. There is very little home team advantage when you build a weak team. Speedway is very much a confidence sport. If you're on a roll you can believe you can beat anyone. Rye House used to be a track that teams feared, many were beat before a wheel was turned. Edinburgh and Somerset have that reputation now.

Well, that's seven of us that won't be going now. You've got to ask who was in charge of organising the dinner & dance and why it wasn't arranged for the first Saturday in November (1st) I'm sure the Black & Gold are thrilled that they will be losing a four figure sum in revenue.
