  1. From Devils website Mikkel 'B' sustained an injury last evening while racing in Denmark, therefore will not be available for Plymouth tomorrow when they face Rye House Rockets in Premier League action. The Devils will instead use the Rider Replacement facility. Plymouth Co Promoter Ashley Taylor says "Mikkel feels he should be well enough in a few days after some rest and cold baths, he will be back with us next Friday in time for the visit of the Ipswich Witches".
  2. Can't claim to that. Rye House's number one moaner according to Silver!!
  3. This has become a little bit lost in this section Cracking line up. Should be a decent meeting http://www.ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.622
  4. Glutton for punishment Simmo, or maybe a masochist
  5. I'm gonna attempt to make this. It'll be a rush, but just do-able with a bit of luck and some Red Bull for the long drive home!
  6. Lewis Bridger made that mistake. He's hardly set the speedway world on fire
  7. Forget Lambert. The real Star was Lewis Rose. Paid 10 after that horror smash at Rye on Saturday. Remarkable!!
  8. I really want to go to this, but I won't be home from work until about 2pm on Friday, giving me little time to make the 240 mile trip, especially with a warm weekend forecast and the inevitable queues on the M5 to the West Country. Add to that having to be up for work at 5.30am on Saturday, it's just not worth it
  9. Mate, don't bother with the rules, they change em every year anyway, sometimes mid season
  10. It is indeed, as pointed out by Cyclone in post #26... Bloody awkward when doing updates! Let's hope he's more consistent than his (near) namesake
  11. If a suitable guest number 1 can't be found, then r/r would be an option. Allens injuries will keep him out for a while yet, so we're really buggered
  12. Garritys broken bones aren't healing as expected, so he'll be out for a while yet, although Saturdays programme notes mentioned next week! As far as I know the Aspegrens aren't related, but I can't be positive.
  13. We'll have Aspegren in the side by then, so no r/r. No news on guests number one yet.
  14. Lose by 7 or 30, still leave pointless. I'm just relieved I didn't make the journey. Doing Redcar and Scunny next week, expecting to lose both, but not by 30!!!
  15. Perhaps not, but I'd bank on Doyle beating Doolan & Lykke in heat 11. It's a risk though, anything could happen such as an engine failure or a fall. I'd always take the points, rather than risk it, but only Morris and the team manager would know
  16. The way things are going I wouldn't have been surprised if we'd lost!
  17. Spot on Ben Morley was at the track watching. He could've filled in as number 8 for either side.
  18. You can add "bad luck" to that. Expect to read something along the lines of, "the Rockets preparation was hampered by the late finish at Hoddesdon the previous evening". There ya go, instant excuse
  19. No journey is too long after a decent result, especially when your backs are to the wall
  20. Like I said, there was no need to. A home 5-1 was enough
  21. Have they hired Alistair Campbell to write the match reports? So much spin I could've put my washing on it to dry No mention of Morris deliberately missing the gate in heat 10 to give Doyle a tactical ride in the next one? I stop short of saying he laid it down on purpose, because he didn't need to. Clever management, or cheating. Make your own mind up
