I fell asleep half way through, possibly due to running around in the park this morning playing cricket, possibly the Sunday roast I consumed before the speedway... Whatever caused my afternoon torpidity it didn't help that the racing was uninspiring early on... Apart from Holta coming from last to first I can't remember another incident of note, apart from Gollob being let back into a heat he should've been excluded from due to a very lenient referee. I hope tomorrows meeting is more inspiring.

Romford Speedway went to the wall after one local resident campaigned over noise... He won his battle, Romford closed and he moved away from the area soon after

Just booked three city centre rooms for the Friday and Saturday The hotel we stayed in this year has been fully booked for three weeks according to them, so I booked into the hotel across the road for £55 a room LESS than we were charged this year and at the same price I paid for this hotel two years ago.

I made the mistake of going shopping in Cardiff on Friday afternoon after a few too many cocktails washed down with cider... Could've been worse I s'pose!!!!
