Unfortunatley i agree... -
Good signing for the Bandits and a surprising one at that with Kennett and the reserve coming in it may just give the other guys a boost too. Did not know that Ricky Ashworth's injury was that bad, get well soon.
-
First of all best wishes and a speedy recovery to the injured riders in heat 1 (Tero and Nick) in what was a very nasty crash. I thought the Bandits would have put up a better fight than they did and to their credit they did perform a comeback of sorts in the second half of the meet with wins for Smith, Aspergren and Wethers which give the scoreline some respectablity. Kozza Smith was undoubtedley the star of the show for Berwick with some good races which included a six point tac ride win in heat nine. The injuries to both sides cancelled each other out but the Comets reserves out scored the Berwick reserves by 23 points to 5. Big star of the night for the Comets was birthday boy Ashley Morris with a great score of 15+1 from six rides, well done Ash.

I protest.

I I dont mind the Comics reference as a bit of fun but if the title author produces a good content to the title he/she should make the title worthy of the content.

Spelling mistakes in the title.

Just do away with the British semi final qualifiers too as that is turning in to a farce. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.20061 -
Mason Campton visa application refused. Hope to see Mason next year with the Comets.

I did hear last night that David Howe had expected to be excluded and it certainly looked like Howe's fault from where i was standing (second bend) i will watch the tv replay later.................. Not a bad meet with some passing and a decent crowd A good two points well earned from the Comets. Oh it was COLD!

Workington V Ipswich (koc) 2nd Leg 27/04/13 7.00pm
topaz325 replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Home track advantage.....doesnt every Club prepare the track to the way the home riders want it...in an ideal world the track would be prepared to the liking of all the riders but its never going to happen except in the case of the GP's and even then the track curator seems to lack total control sometimes. Workington were very good on Saturday and were helped by two good guests but its all swings and roundabouts at Ipswich Doyle was a very good guest for Barker whilst for Workington the No7 guest failed to score. I really thought Ipswich would go through to the next round with the twenty point advantage but Risager, Lanham and Tungate were Poor althougth Tungate did try very hard. Oh well just Somerset to face in the next round.. Oh and whats all the fuss about Barker, ok he hit the boards and had an ef, he did not fall and hurt himself!
