Theo looked good practising at Worky a few weeks ago but even Theo would think twice about making a comeback. Worky are starting on the back foot with not having any championship riders from last year to start off with so have a clean slate more or less to compile a team. I am sure we will have a competitive team in 24 though.

Have not seen anything official .

Hagon signed for Poole, Kerr at Berwick.

Which team

Two heat leader maximum I would have thought to be competitive and fit in with the 38 point limit unless going for a youthful weaker bottom end. Cook and Howarth, Vissing, Castagna, Hook, Sam, Jorgensen.

Very strong side , looks like the two divisions have a definitive difference in team strength.

So why the need to run it from how many years ago is it now .....the train has left a long time ago and it’s empty.

If this meeting takes place the BSPL should be fined.

I,m sure promoters are grateful for any help received .

Thing is costs don’t match up for many tracks, money coming in is not enough to pay some riders wage demands .

Hopefully riders will not have over inflated points money expectations .....

How could that do that to Oxford ....will there be help to fulfil all rider places at all tracks....

Was there a Plan B if Birmingham and Oxford did not join the Premiership?

Hopefully go with a mid order riders 6.5/7.0 averages.

My gut feeling is that he will not be but i could be wrong.

One thing championship and NDL but Prem and CL ! I would have thought the costs would be too prohibitive plus getting the fans to attend in numbers twice a week is a big ask but who knows ?

In a late change to the League structure Workington move up to the Premiership : Dan Bewley Nicolai Klindt Rene Bach Craig Cook Claus Vissing Sam McGurk Adam Roynon. Och well

I personally would like to see Rene back but can’t see it happening , more chance of Vissing or Jorgensen I would say.

On the whole the 2023 season has been a success in the NDL and an enjoyable experience watching the lads home and away. I think the move to the Championship has been to a degree forced on the promotion with the potential demise of the NDL and the lack of teams in the other Leagues . I can only hope the increased costs to the management and fans in the Championship do not harm the clubs future , with rider costs and entry fee of around £20 in the Championship in 2023. It will need a good support from sponsors fans and volunteers to make the club succeed in the future .
