Good news but will need radical changes for next year regarding costs for riders etc , so will anything change at this years AGM,
With the crowd numbers Newcastle are averaging this season the added input of another promoter will only go so far…
Sorry to sound negative but just being realistic
Best wishes to the club for next season
Agree have sympathy with the travelling Leicester fans, i looked at the forecast on Saturday and all was good indeed it improved on Sunday morning (apart from that foreseen shower at about 3:30pm).
So i booked trains and hotel.....
Seems like the major reason for the Eastbourne demise was the pay rates given to riders which were drawn up in 2019 and with the League not operating in 2020 the contract was rolled over to 2021..., seems to be that three riders were on a guaranteed rate, three were on a points based contract and one was on a Hybrid contract.
The other main reason was the large downfall in attendances this year
As much as I prefer the track at Belle vue , the facilities and limited attendance available would be a non starter, yes although the Hotels at Cardiff can be expensive (!) and the journey down from darkest Cumbria is not ideal wether driving or via train , I still prefer Cardiff.
