  1. Did Fricke get away without an exclusion there? Is Dave Watters the ref again?
  2. I might be inclined to add King's Lynn to your list. We've got to be picking up bonus points if we want to do anything this year, I'm not sure taking 5 points to Lynn will be enough
  3. If you thought Plymouth were bad at Wimborne Road last year this could be even worse!
  4. Was it 15, it was some performance! I seem to remember that they bladed the track and there was a huge berm round the outside that Lol kept putting his back wheel in... good times indeed!
  5. I couldn't disagree more, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the track last night, a bit heavy? Yes. The Belle Vue lads seemed to be revelling in it! Leicester were poor out of the start and then poor for the rest of the race, it's not the first time Leicester have fallen to pieces at the NSS and probably won't be the last! On what basis would you have abandoned/postponed the meeting before heat 1?
  6. We all know that if you ask the riders for their opinions on a track on any given night you'll get 14 different opinions. Some leave their brains in the toolbox and will just go for it and others will, understandably, have concerns, especially if they've had big injuries in the past. On tricky tracks some will have career best performances, I remember Lol Hare going through the card at Cov many years ago scoring an 18 point maximum on a well dodgy track, I don't think he ever scored as well again!
  7. I've not really followed his career before he joined Leicester, but he's a big boy now and should have eradicated this from his game. Poor matches for a rider of Max's calibre should be 9's, 10's & 11's... not the 4's, 6's & 7's he's been getting and these on tracks he should be more than familiar with by now. I know he'll come good, he's a quality rider, we can't afford to be getting 3/4 of a season out of him with our lack of top end power elsewhere in the team
  8. Belle Vue is one of the safest tracks in the world, there wasn't a single fall last night and nobody really looked like they were getting into much trouble, yes visibilty was an issue and the track was pretty much shot by heat 14. If we're going to wait for perfect conditions, especially in Manchester, we may as well shut up shop now.
  9. It's alright, Fricke will be at reserve soon and then watch us go!
  10. 1. Can you imagine him as your team captain getting in your head all night long!
  11. 1. I've seen him single handedly getting a meeting abandoned at Peterborough a few years back when there was absolutely nothing wrong with the track, and listening to him over the last few meetings I can see exactly why. 2. He needs a ladder to get on his bike
  12. Credit to all the riders for getting on with it, it wasn't pretty but at least it's a result
  13. What a pathetic display from the Lions... has anybody seen the panic button?
  14. Will there be a happy ending to this meeting?
  15. Especially with the crowd it's attracted
  16. Listening to Schlein on commentary it's easy to imagine how he talks himself out of riding when the track is anything other than perfect. He'll be trying to get this one called off from the commentary box!
  17. Fricke started last season like this, he really should be doing better, especially around BV!
  18. Is there anywhere we can view the data from these transponders?
  19. Mine was for less than that, only a minute I think, I watch on the Internet browser on my Samsung TV though
  20. I'm not so sure you can pause it and then pick up where you left off. I've tried this in the past and though it did pause, when I pressed play again it just picked up the live coverage... of course this could have changed since I last tried it and it may depend on what platform you're watching it on. I know you CAN do the pause and restart with the Discovery+ app on android platforms and also start watching that as live at any time. Up the Lions!
  21. Riders are self employed are they not? If they're a limited company they are employees of the company they are a director of... nothing to do with the club
  22. I'm sorry, I just don't get why we're punishing the team and the paying fans for something a rider has done and only on that 1 single night. A club can't be responsible for what a rider does, much in the same way that they're not responsible if a rider gets injured riding for a different club and sometimes in a different country. Take Charles Wright getting injured riding for Wroclaw last year, should Redcar have had a facility? Of course they should, I fail to see the difference. What if a rider had drugs in his system from "partying" with a different club? Should Poole not have had a facility for 1 match when Darcy Ward got busted at a GP a few years back? I agree with your last point, can't see it myself though
