  1. To stop the crowd getting covered in dust, unlike in this country, they seem to not want their punters to go home 50 shades darker 🧒🏿 than when they arrived 🧒🏼
  2. Only takes a crash/injury/exclusion etc. Weather, especially at Vojens in September could have a huge bearing... anyway it'd be nice to know in advance what happens in a tie instead of waiting for the results of an impromptu FIM Jury meeting behind closed doors and having Armando Castanga trying to explain things to everybody 😂
  3. Was it the same former world champion that was pretending to masturbate with the trophy when he was walking it out onto the centre accompanied by 2 minors on global TV?
  4. Hasn't Lambert just very much reverted to type? Last year was his exceptional season finishing 2nd... the sport is littered with former world number 2's.
  5. What if they were both to finish much lower down in the points with Kurtz 3 points higher than Zmarzlik, Kurtz 13th and Zmarzlik 16th for example, or 12th and 15th, 11th and 14th etc. etc.
  6. Under the old systems it seemed like all the points were kind of contained within the race... no going back to see who beat who in previous races and then reaching for a conversion chart to translate race points scored to position finished in to series points gained... I maintain the only way in which the current scoring system works is with 1 race containing all 16 riders over 80 laps... it's ridiculous!
  7. This is the problem, we as speedway fans, not even newbies can't fathom out the scoring system, it's just too fluid with far too many permutations going into the last races, you have to sit there with a conversion chart! Should be fun and games trying to work out the last GP if it's not a straight first and 2nd!
  8. And that "only 1 point" could be the difference between a gold and a silver... If it were a tie, what decides it, do we know? (R&R?)
  9. That's like when Buster Douglas knocked Mike Tyson out then... or Rocky beat Apollo, at least Rocky went on to become something 😂 If they have to have a final, which I'm not against it has to be a meritocracy, either every point counts or back to the D, C, B and A finals at least under the latter system your locked into your race scoring qualification points.
  10. Holder scores 7, finishes with 14, Fricke scores 11, finishes with 7! It's so wrong!
  11. So does Kurtz need to win Vojens with Zmarzlik 3rd? Can't see anybody ahead of Zmarzlik other than Kurtz... today's sprint may come back to haunt Kurtz!
  12. I'm sorry but how can it be right that a rider finishing 3rd after 20 races with 11 points can not only lose out to a lower points scorer in LCQ1... but to rub salt into the wounds also LCQ2... what a Mickey Mouse sport this has become
  13. Have they just found a land mine from the 1936 Olympics? 😂
  14. Fred having his annual stinker... which is why he'll never be the best rider to not win a World Championship!
  15. But it will be affordable cream that is delivered when you want it to be delivered to taste its best to attract lots of, erm, cream drinkers... I'll stop now 🤔😁
  16. Yes, but... with the cost of living £20 is the new £10
  17. He's 100% the better option if you want your team member to turn up and ride for your club on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday
  18. Any organisation that allows you to have a "Funtime Bounce" air fence to gain a Homologation Certificate for a circuit licence can not be taken seriously 😂
  19. You only have to look at the names that have been interested enough in Speedway to buy all the kit and kaboodle to ride at NDL/CL reserve level over the last 10 years but have subsequently quit due to lack of opportunity because clubs want ready made riders from abroad to see that the sport in this country could be sustainable if only the people running the sport would give home grown riders a decent chance. Even now were importing loads of young Aussies, who are really just here to concentrate on starting a career in Poland. To do away with anybody not committed to British Speedway is going to take a period of adjustment but look how quickly the CL has recovered since its drastic weakening a few seasons back, a lot of fans were up in arms when this happened but now it's probably one of the most competitive leagues in Europe.
  20. The fact that the BSPL/SCB are using a registered charity in their petty battle with NORA tells you everything you need to know about the people involved at the top of our sport and they should be nowhere near any decision making. If I were involved in the SRBF I'd be issuing a statement demanding that point 3 be removed from the SCB statement. And would be distancing the charity from such a corrupt organisation as the SCB.
