  1. Would it not be more viable to have the neutral zone on the inside of the fence (i.e. a fence within the fence) the bends are certainly wide enough to do that, not sure about the straights though?
  2. Testimonials aren't as lucrative as they used to be in this country especially to Ekstraliga riders. DJ Woff was due a testimonial this year and it was obviously not worth his trouble to organise one, he could probably make as much in a couple of races in Poland.
  3. You'd have thought he would have remembered the podium... he was stood on top of it last year at Leicester!
  4. I'm not saying he's going to single handedly revive the SGP series, but it's currently at its lowest ever ebb and there's not a single rider in the series they can hang their promotional hat on... Dan Bewley, as good as he is, is all a bit nicey nicey when interviewed, Robert Lambert a bit boring and neither have an individual World Championship to their name... and you can forget the rest although Jack Holder does seem to have something about him. There's only 3 World Champions in the 2026 series and 2 of them are wild cards and the other one can't speak English... I mean what do you do with that as a promoter?
  5. Why do you say that? SGP has/is a brand, GB Speedway Team is a brand... and pretty much nobody outside of the sport are aware of them.
  6. Is it available on any Podcast platforms?
  7. That's a couple more articles than are currently appearing in the national press currently though. SoN win last year, not a mention, Dan always winning the British GP, nothing, BZ winning a 6th Championship, nothing. Tai farts, article printed in the newspaper! And it's not about reading an article in the paper and then heading off trance like to your nearest Speedway venue, much in the same way that you don't watch an advert on the TV and have the sudden need to go and but some sanitary pads (😲). It's about brand awareness and gaining some kind of traction in the public consciousness.
  8. Shouldn't need to adjust the whole sport to cater for quitters though 🤷‍♂️
  9. We've had the commentators discussing the weather and now the traffic... you just don't get this on TNT 😂😂
  10. 17 race retirements this season, 12 for Leicester (more than everybody else that rode for Leicester combined) and 5 for Berwick. Based on 4 programmed rides that's 3 complete meetings he just couldn't be bothered to finish. If you've not fallen off and your bike is still under any kind of power there is no excuse for not finishing races.
  11. Anders Rowe looking really wild tonight, just did a massive left turn on Mulford going into turn 1, a bit naughty!
  12. Having said that though I suppose it's the riders on gates 2 & 3 choice to look across the riders next to them, they could just look forward like they used to in the good old days.
  13. I wonder if it's time to exclude the rider that jumps if the person next to them gets suckered in? How you prove that with some micro movements would be tricky though.
  14. You're welcome to him, I never want to see him at Leicester again. Good luck 🤞
  15. I agree with you he shouldn't be in the series based on recent form... I did say earlier though that he should in to generate some much needed publicity for the series, he can do that more than the rest combined imo.
  16. You can keep him... and Morris... add in a pinch of Craig Cook and you almost have a team that won't finish a match 😂
  17. Everybody has you on ignore though 😉😂
  18. It's taught him a lesson he'll never forget 😂
  19. SCB STATEMENT: FRASER BOWES Monday September 29, 2025 The Workington club received information prior to fixture versus Berwick on Saturday 27th September that Fraser Bowes had refused to travel back to the UK from his base in Poland to participate in this final fixture. By Mr Bowes refusing to compete on the 27th of September he has breached SCB Regulation - 017.2 i) Failure to attend from a meeting duly listed on the official fixture list. Due to this breach of the Regulations, Mr Bowes SCB Registration will be suspended for a period of 28 days as from the 27th of September.
  20. While Speedway is very much a numbers game it is also about completing 4 laps. As I've said before I absolutely hate riders not completing 4 laps when they are clearly able to do so and last night it all came home to roost, some will say it didn't make any difference in the eventual outcome, but sport is all about the moment and had Lions needed a 5-1 instead of a 5-0 in that last race that's a whole different ball game mentally. Kemp has displayed attitude problems throughout his career, will he learn from last night? Personally I doubt it, his attitude is in his make up, I do hope he learns from it... just not at Leicester. Whether Mr Dickson sees it the same way I wouldn't be so sure... he looked very prepared to take Nick Morris back during the summer and did so with Berwick.
