What has happened to the Speedway Updates site?
IainB replied to Al Stewart's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I've tried to look at it for reference a few times in the morning recently and it's been down altogether, so maybe there is a problem with the platform itself? -
Glasgow Tigers v Oxford Cheetahs 3rd July

I remember and liked that format, did it last for more than a season? It was probably stopped as I surmise that the riders didn't like it as there weren't so many easy point pickings going... and we all know the sport is run for the riders. -

Only if they were programmed to ride against each other... there is more than 1 way to run a Speedway meeting 🤔 -

Why would you expect the new live updates service direct from the referees box to be working at the track run by the chairman of the BSPL? 😂 -

Even the ref isn't updating the scores on the BSN Live Updates! -
Even they've lost interest in it!

Especially as he's averaging around 6.5 so far this season... another mockery of the rolling averages 🤔

pootle /ˈpuːtl/ Pootle is a British informal verb that means to travel or move in a relaxed, leisurely, and unhurried manner, often without a specific destination or rush. It can also refer to spending time pleasantly while doing unimportant tasks. [1, 2] For example: "We were pootling along the country lanes in our old car." [1] poodle /ˈpuːdl/ A poodle is an active, highly intelligent dog breed characterized by a dense, curly coat. Originating in Germany (where its name derives from the German word pudel, meaning to "splash in water"), the breed was originally bred to retrieve waterfowl. [1, 2, 3, 4] The term "poodle" can refer to several different meanings depending on the context: 1. The Dog Breed Poodles are classified into three recognized sizes: Standard, Miniature, and Toy. Known for their keen intellect and agility, poodles are also popular because their hair is typically hypoallergenic, meaning they shed much less than other breeds. [1, 2, 3, 4] The Poodle Cut: The elaborate, sculptured haircuts poodles often sport in dog shows were originally designed to protect their joints and vital organs from cold water while keeping them lightweight for swimming. [1, 2, 3, 4] 2. Idiomatic Meaning In British and informal English, the term "poodle" can be used as a derogatory or humorous insult to describe a person who is overly compliant or subservient to authority. [1, 2] Example: "The opposition party accused him of being the Prime Minister's poodle." POOTLE! POOTLE! POOTLE! 😂😂😂 ... not that it bothers me 😂

Jonas was an impressive winner of heat 2 from the back with a very clever ride, puk looked out of sorts all night while Batch was on fire! Jonas could easily have replaced puk in one ride and probably Lidsey and/or Harrison, they were only 2 points down at heat 9, then blew it conceding 2 5-1's courtesy of puk and Lidsey -

I've got to say it Foxes fans but your team manager is pretty clueless (and he's far from alone in Speedway), Jonas Jeppesen 7 points from reserve and just the 4 rides! Is it any wonder you can't win (except for Leicester at home 😉)
