Any fixture details for Lynn yet? -

Thanks for that Jacqueline Most appreciated! -
As you say, that's a pretty solid line up if Campos is announced as the final rider. Nice to know we'll face Mildenhall in the KOC That should be a cracker!

Kings Lynn Young Stars Vs American Touring Team

Agree with you there He did give me a heart attack on a few occasions when he went a bit close to the boards though Looks an interesting prospect. Shame the weather put pay to the meeting a couple of heats early -
Kings Lynn Young Stars Vs American Touring Team

I did wonder if it would be considered an NL meeting or not as the programme from the Stars v Poole fixture confused me on this somewhat. The advert on the page "upcoming at the Norfolk Arena" states it's a Stars Select, yet you look on the results and fixtures page at the back and it says it's the Young Stars v USA Dream Team! If David Howe's confirming he's in it, then it can't be the Young Stars surely?! -
In response to your post Mimmo, in light of what you've said, I can kinda see why it may not make a great deal of difference to the attendance figures, but still, it would be nice to have results put into the paper. For the meeting to get mentioned on a Wednesday, but then to have no results in on a Thursday, seems a bit odd to me.
-
Yes. I agree! Maybe if it was mentioned in the local press a bit more (i.e correct line ups given beforehand and then meeting reports posted afterwards) it might tempt a few more people into going on a regular basis? You never know...

I wasn't at the meeting last night but looks like it was a pretty good performance by our team considering we're without Lewis and Darren. Once again, I see there is NO report in the EDP on this meeting today, not even a small mention. Anyone care to shed light on why this is? It'd be good for the results of the meetings to actually get printed in the local press!

Dad told me this earlier as he listens to Radio Norfolk a bit. Hilarious isn't it?
-
Interesting... Thinking back, I thought he wanted to give speedway up at the end of last season? Could be wrong, but I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere online. If he is deciding to call it a day, I'd presume it's down to the cost of buying the equipment and maintaining the equipment he has.
-
Best wishes to Darren and Lewis! A very sad state of affairs really. Luck just doesn't seem to be coming to King's Lynn much at the moment

Have svemo.se sorted out their results pages and so on yet?
-
I agree. It was an excellent website for getting a lot of information from all the Swedish leagues. It was easy to navigate and find the details you wanted. I've only just discovered that speedway.nu was discontinuing and that svemo.se was taking over the live updates and so on. I only want the results to see how Kenneth Bjerre, Niels-Kristian Iversen and Mads Korneliussen are doing for their teams over there. Looks like I won't be able to post any links to any details on my unofficial King's Lynn website until Svemo sort their stuff out!

Thanks folks! Wasn't at the last NL meeting at Lynn so hadn't a clue. What's the new date, if anyone knows?
-
Just checking that the Young Stars are up against the Potters tomorrow? Not seen a topic for this meeting anywhere, so just wondered if it was still going ahead? If it is, any details i.e start time and line ups? I guess Lynn are still operating R/R for Adam Lowe?

King's Lynn vs Hackney Hawks

Should be going to this one after all. Hope our lads have a good meeting! -
Fantastic news for Mildenhall and their supporters Not been there for quite a while but may well make some trips over this year. The curry sauce at the track is certainly the best I've tasted, so nice to see that returning as well hopefully

Not sure what to make of the signing of Cockle myself...
-
Indeed! Will Brundle really be given another chance though? He's already had a few (!)
-
I think it's only D/Us that can't ride through all 3 leagues. Don't think the #8 is affected? As a #8, I don't think we'd be calling Roynon up that often...
-
I'd plumb for Lambert or someone of his calibre as well. I thought Cal was after a team place somewhere next season, but then again, that's only going by what I've seen him say generally on Facebook. The latest I've seen is that he wants to race, but he may not if he doesn't get a place anywhere, which I think would be a shame. I hope someone decides to give him a go!
