  1. Not surprised at the away win by the Witches last night. Was something I personally fully expected to happen. Had hoped the Panthers would prove me wrong, but sadly it wasn't to be. Good to see that Roynon got his 7 points. Hall and Dilger need to take a good long hard look and themselves though and sort themselves out for the next meeting! What was the racing like to all those folks that went? Did you feel entertained? I'm still trying to work out whether I do really want to head over on Sunday or not. Panthers may well lose again, but the racing might be good... I just don't know what I want to do
  2. Well yes, I guess that's true. People in general can be fickle!
  3. Not surprised to see Hall and Dilger only score one point a piece. Happy to see that Roynon got 7 however. That's respectable. He's had a very unfortunate time since 2007 with bad injuries almost every season! If only he could get a lengthy injury free run, he could become good again.
  4. It's only what I think. Not trying to destroy his argument
  5. You're very optimistic (!) Oh boy...I'm outta here
  6. Now now. Let's not take the topic down that road! Whether Panthers will win, lose or draw tonight is really what needs to be talked about, not grooming!
  7. I've obviously not learnt yet He'll say that this is another part of my "learning process" apparently!
  8. OK...I'm obviously very slow on the uptake sometimes!!!!
  9. Hope the Young Stars get two good results Won't be there as I'm doing the Stars two EL fixtures on Thursday/Friday, so I hope those that do go get served up some good entertainment
  10. My social life pretty much is mainly speedway related between March to October, so you're not alone! I do have other interests, but my social time between those months is pretty much speedway orientated. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say any of us are sad idiots though! Blimey! I knew you were becoming disillusioned like a few others, but didn't realised you hadn't been for several weeks. But then again that's probably cos we haven't spoken for months! Is anything really rosy at any speedway track these days? I bet it isn't! I personally think it is dying a slow death over here. My dad doesn't think so, but I'm becoming very cynical over a few things with regards to the subject of speedway of late. Nice to know you're still alive anyway
  11. Ah ha! I wondered where you'd gone!!!! Do you not go to Ipswich anymore?
  12. Well...even I must confess, I'm seriously asking myself now is it even worth going to anymore meetings this year...and I never thought I'd say that! I'm just not 100% sure that good racing will be seen. I'm waiting to see what the result is tonight and also to see what comments people are afterwards before I personally make a choice. I struggle to get to meetings on Tuesdays anyway, but I might do the Sunday afternoon meetings, but I'm still not entirely sure what to do! I just want to be entertained. I don't always feel I get that at the Norfolk Arena these days in all honesty, even though we're doing really well! Knowing him, I think you might be correct. Believe you me, my friend is no glory hunter! So you're always at the back of the stand somewhere?! Why do you people never say hello?!
  13. I like the view from the stand although I will go to bend 1/2 near the bar if a friend of mine is present as he never normally goes in the stand. But, he's already stated that he's no longer going anymore this season. He too believes that Panthers chances of reaching the play offs are over.
  14. Thanks! I doubt I'll be able to do any of the double header meetings on Tuesdays anyway...
  15. Who's the opposition? I've not seen an amended fixture list or anything yet!
  16. Had thought about going to this fixture, but changed my mind now. Will wait to see what the result is and what comments are made by others on here and on Twitter before deciding if I dare go to the next home fixture v Somerset on Sunday 24th. Personally, I can't see past an away win by Ipswich I'm afraid. I'd like to think that the new signings will prove me wrong though, so here's hoping!
  17.  Really? Oh well! Whatever floats Flyin Panther's boat is all I can say in answer to that one Summer's over? Now there's a surprise...not!!!!
  18. LOL I enjoy having 6 fingers actually I suppose the team could be described as being "average" this year, but with these 3 signings, it's got a bit "below average" now for me. Yes. I cannot deny that since 2010, I have visited the EoES more times than I care to imagine as a "neutral". I'd go as far as to say I'm an adopted Panthers supporter! No. I'm not surprised. Or offended. I know what you dish up on Twitter. And from knowing a few Panthers supporters via that, it seems there are more wind up merchants over your way than in Norfolk But I can take a bit of stick or banter. It doesn't matter to me. Stick your nose in wherever you like I don't mind. I'm amazed it all kinda kicked off after Crump99 posted his reply in response to mine! I'm still failing to see what he's said that's bang out of order. I think he meant his 6 fingered thing in jest! I'm honestly not offended. I took a photo of Fisher's t-shirt with "Welcome to King's Lynn. Give me 6." on it last year and used it as a Facebook cover photo for quite sometime. That's the sort of person I am. I can laugh at myself! I've learnt not to take peoples comments on here to heart anymore. Wow! Such high praise! But I feel you are right. I am adding to a "potentially struggling" coffers of the Peterborough Speedway promotion. Judging by the crowd levels that I've seen when I've been there, it's very worrying. That's why I had hoped for 3 slightly better names to be announced and that's of no disrespect to Hall, Dilger or Roynon...particularly Roynon as if it hadn't have been for all these injuries, he'd have been a brilliant rider by now. His real injury woes started back in 2007 with Birmingham if I remember rightly? And he's had problems every year since then I think? That's a long time to keep getting knocked down and having to pick yourself up again and effectively start afresh! I'm sure Flyin Panther is not trying to get in my good books
  19. I have to say, I am somewhat underwhelmed by the 3 new signings
  20. But what about the no more Australians doubling up thing that's in place now after the whole Ty Proctor Somerset/Wolverhampton/Sheffield business? Wasn't that why the Rory Schlein move was blocked? Or is that all a load of rubbish? I think the race night they're not looking at is Sunday... Having the meeting on a Sunday afternoon would suit me personally down to a T!
  21. Not been on this forum for several months and have just dipped into the topic but...any news on who Panthers are going to sign in place of Fisher and now Blackbird? All seems very quiet on the western front...
  22. Heading down for this one Not been to Ipswich since Morten Risager's Testimonial back in March. Hope to see a good meeting. Not really sure what to expect after Ipswich got mauled at Somerset on Friday and Newcastle lost at home to Workington yesterday. Could be an even match. I promise I'll see you this time Had Enough I'll make a point of it I swear. Think I'll be cheering for Newcastle and "Team Lewis" today
  23. Thank you Was just curious. Never knew Lewis had serious mechanical issues yesterday. I saw he'd had one fall on the updates. To score 4+2 was pretty good then!
