  1. Really don't see what the problem is with this the reduction however it was worked out has allowed us to sign Simon lambert not Robert lambert with what was left. According to most forum members we are going to be so far adrift in the runnings it seems a debate for debates sake.
  2. Yes must agree totally different in the first case they just altered the rules to allow a rider in . Where as in this case they applied a rule voted on at the agm by all promoters alleged
  3. Think they used the same equation that they used to get Max Perry into your Ndl team a few years ago . Don't seem to remember a great debate on that
  4. Why when it's a team designed to win at home πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  5. I use ignore on him but people keep quoting his posts so you see his inane ramblings. Personally think he adds nothing to the debates
  6. Agree totally that there is no interest from the club authorities . But to the riders selected it's huge riding against the best there is only makes you better.
  7. Personally don't think there are any minor Fim events they are all major in each individual age category.
  8. Think Scunthorpe may have a similar problem with Luke
  9. Level 3 in Poland announced today just after final team was accepted so expect ours now we know where riders will be on Sundays
  10. Being the parent of a rider we have no sense of entitlement as a family we have worked hard to get the boy to the level he at .
  11. Strange isnt it that everyone says riders should have a job as speedway isnt a full time profession , then proceed to moan when a rider fits in racing around the job.😏
  12. To add to this the club runs to a budget and pays on time every time . I do understand though to most posters on here that a club that provides great racing in a cost effective manner owing no riders money is in anyway a positive
  13. To cut out all speculation Luke was offered Β£15 a point to ride at two clubs as this is the standard rate for heat leaders and he would of been number 1 at both clubs. He has made the decision not to race in the Ndl this season not because of the money
  14. there no discussion on quitting mate its just the anomaly of losing to much money when riding and not riding enough to progress
  15. He has signed a warsaw contract which in reality is not a guarantee of a spot just allows a rider to practice and hopefully get picked to race this involves no payment at all unless racing
  16. No not at all but if a rider on a 10 point average is losing money riding and a days wage on top of it then it becomes massively unviable can you imagine the losses a 3 pointer is incurring
  17. Currently no decision is made on Luke doing the league, my personal feeling is he shouldn't do it as with the current pay scales even scoring 15 every meeting means you run at a loss and even more so when you factor in the loss of a days working wage for us both as well. But on the flip side of that with only a championship spot and the limited amount of racing that it will provide he may have to do it for bike time and to justify the huge outlay on equipment during the winter. From doing 70 plus meetings last year to probably less 35 this year is there any wonder why young riders give up.
  18. Hannah is a decent rider would hold her own in the national league. Ask Ben trigger he followed her around a lot πŸ˜‚
  19. He also said we had a chance of winning the league
