  1. can only mean that when Rob is in Hungry for the fim meeting this weekend he will be finalising deals with Magic and Laguta wondered why he was shying away from signing Luke Harrison
  2. well certainly some deluded folk on here probably listening to Lewy and his source who said Steve Worrall is nailed on for scunny
  3. Sam is a great signing and don't see him being one of the weaker reserves with Freddie Hodder, Ben Trigger, Luke Harrison, Luke Killeen , Max Perry, Ashton boughen , Ace pijper he will be amongst his peer group all who beat each other on a regular basis .
  4. hasnt it been said 5 of this years team leaving . if so cant be Bomber ace and lee in same team as that would mean only 4 had left
  5. could you please enlighten me to who is removing a league as i understand it is still there but owners of clubs are saying its not viable and are not prepared to run .
  6. Have you witnessed a meeting there or just assuming this from reading social media posts.
  7. When I go to watch at my home track at scunthorpe always watch as a neutral. I like to see them win but couldn't careless as long as I'm entertained the result doesn't matter
  8. Can't disagree it's early for luke he did a decent job at Redcar but did find it tough going at times. Thing is for a group of about 12 riders it's probably going to be a choice of step up or fade away after the imminent demise of the Ndl
  9. Take it your not aware of next year's points limit then .
  10. No idea on any riders yet .was aware of the announcement though and its fantastic for speedway but tinged with a hint of sadness as it probably does signal the end of the Ndl as we know it
  11. Wondering if anyone from this years team will be involved
  12. With all the changes drop outs and riders choosing to be elsewhere does that not tell you its not held in the highest regard
  13. Come on young man even you know in your position he only says to the dwindling masses what others have decided. Even if he disagrees he has to go with the majority
  14. Can't disagree but in a sport where you want to advertise your skills at the highest level why compete in a competition that won't exist next year. Even if you aren't aware this is happening 99%of riders are
  15. Even though its protected riders choose where they want to ride they are self employed. With riders choosing a team event they risk a ban from next national league meeting. However because there won't be a national league there's no risk.
  16. Slightly misinformed there clubs are choosing not to run Ndl rather than it been scrapped. It's been said for a while certain clubs won't run so a league of 4 teams isn't a league it's more a series of challenges. If a club decides its not running there's nothing the Bspl can do they can't force them Think this is why workington and mildenhall have been encouraged to move up .
  17. Personally as the dad and mechanic of a rider I also go to bike first after a crash leave medics to do their job whilst I do mine . If bike is ok when picked up then see how lad is . It is difficult to do this at times but it right to keep out the way at first
  18. Wasn't sure it worked like that but that's what I was alluding to . Should be like that across all leagues
  19. No would give riders who want to progress the opportunity to race their piers and develop , the sport in the uk is becoming sink or swim with no development for younger riders then we wonder why the attrition rate is so high and rider numbers are falling
  20. For me heat format should be revised where 6 & 7 meet each other and numbers 2 & 4. Riders 1,3 & 5 should meet each other and numbers 2,4 so you're always racing against riders of their own level or in positions in teams they hope to get to . I will never be convinced that a reserve should ever get the opposition heat leaders
