  1. There has been a change to the Rolling Average criteria for 2015. As of May 1st Issue, only 2014 and 2015 matches will count in the Rolling Averages (to a maximum of 20 matches). Therefore, riders who had 2013 matches in their current RA will have them discounted. This may mean that some riders will only have 2015 matches in their RA, and will therefore not have their current average updated until they have achieved the 4H & 4A benchmark. Elite League Riders concerned include Stuart Robson & K Gomolski. PL Riders include:- BERWICK: Edberg GLASGOW: Smith IPSWICH: Nielsen NEWCASTLE: Rosen, Henry PETERBOROUGH: Palm Toft PLYMOUTH: Fisher, Morris RYE HOUSE: Aspegren, Mellgren SCUNTHORPE: Davies SHEFFIELD: Compton This is not a definitive list, there may be others that I have missed. 2. 16.5.3 No facility is permitted to replace a Rider, who although included in a Re-declaration has not made an appearance for that Team since being re-declared. But...... 16.5.3 means that 17.6 c) is in force if Poole's morning fixture is rained off? 17.6 FACILITIES a) Absent Rider (1 – 5) G or ARR b ) Absent #6 or #7 G (EDR Rider only) c) “No Facility” for Absent 1-5 PL G (PL MA of 6.00 or less) ATB Dave
  3. Maybe it gave the likes of Joonas & Freddie the chance to cancel flights into England? ATB Dave
  4. Item (b... 16.5.2 For an absent Rider with (a) an assessed MA, or (b has been approved in a team’s declared line-up at the start of the season, a 28-day Facility may be granted at MC’s discretion. ATB Dave edited to change brackets b brackets = a smiley
  5. Hans Andersen was using a camera strapped to his chest at Coventry P & P on Friday. ATB Dave
  6. Elite & Premier Leagues will now only use the last 20 League matches for 2015 updated Green Sheet calculations. As has been in the past, I would expect the first Issue to implement any average changes will be for May. (Apart from if there are any prior issued GSA's if Assessed/Converted average riders pass the 4H & 4A match criteria prior to the 21st April cut-off date.) But I guess that looks unlikely in the space of just 4 weeks. ATB Dave
  7. I'm reliably informed that the scoring system has been changed to 3-2-1-0. 21 Heats plus two semi-finals and a Final. A 3-3 result in the S/F (and Final) would see the team coming 2nd & 3rd going through to the Final (declared Winners) Tournament points allocated by most points scored in meeting: 10-8-6-4-3-2-1. ATB Dave
  8. Tommy Knudsen... Career fragmented by a broken back sustained whilst riding in Australia. ATB Dave
  9. Looking for Ice updates this weekend, I have found these two sites to be very informative http://nicesport.pl/live http://live.baansportfansite.nl/ ATB Dave
  10. There were no subsequent amendments to Rule 17.11.4 last year. ATB Dave
  11. 17.11.4 A Rider in the re-run of a Heat where that Rider was not disqualified and is unable to take part due to injury or damage to his/her motorcycle, in which case assumes the status of the Rider being replaced, e.g. in the same helmet colour, gate position, as a TR (and the possibility of double points), even if s/he has already taken a TR ride. ATB Dave
  12. A Reserve replacing an injured TR rider 'inherits' the TR role in that race. ATB Dave
  13. Last season (when there were two Tactical Rides per side in a meeting) a Reserve could theoretically have scored 27 points! 4 programmed Race wins. 1 win as a Replacement for any rider. 2 x Tactical Ride wins. (Replacing two Tactical Riders who both happened to be Fn in the first running of their TR race) Now the maximum he can score is 24. ATB Dave
  14. ....No matter which team the winner came from..... Now that would certainly spice things up! ATB Dave
  15. MEETING POSTPONED. Restaging Friday. Presumably takes precedence over Devon v Storm. ATB Dave
  16. The YELLOW (Nathan Greaves) exclusion light definitely came on during the race although I cannot say for sure at what stage the race was actually stopped. ATB Dave
  17. Hey! If you are going to slag something off, as being bloody garbage, at least have the courtesy to spell it right! ATB Dave
  18. I believe that in these instances a Promoter can chose which rider is nominated as the higher if it affects Heat Leader or Reserve positions. Once the choice is made, it cannot be changed. ATB Dave
  19. Now that's what I call a great idea! Shouldn't think the gates would be too much of a problem as the three remaining riders would have a 'staggered' start with more room to manoeuvre. ATB Dave
  20. More like the other way round! The actual template we now use can cope with any number & combination of matches. ATB Dave
  21. 28 for Elite League (even though there are 36 League Matches) 24 for PL (Includes League Cup this year) ATB Dave
  22. I wonder if Emil is going to take part in GP Qualifiers for 2015? The way he has withdrawn from this season's series is hardly likely to guarantee him a Wild Card place whenever his advisers say that it is OK for him to return to the GP's. ATB Dave
  23. So Mr Holder and the like get their way with fewer meetings in Britain, so that they have more time for lucrative European meetings? What about the other riders, with no European meetings? How are they supposed make a living? ATB Dave
  24. The link from DutchGrasstrack seems to still be showing the practice. I found the live stream (below.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tQb8fIvJl8 ATB Dave
