Why do you need a programme, you only look at the pictures. -

My season pass gets better value all the time, sadly I dont see a Final coming. -
Further update this morning on Sam via Facebook. Just a quick update on Sam's condition. He's now off the ventilator but still unconscious and clearly has a long way to go. Thank you for all your messages and prays we might not reply but we read every one to Sam hoping that he can hear us and knows that you're all thinking of him. He's going to win this race. Claire and Chris. For everyone who has asked yesterday's scan didn't show anything other than the original bleeds on the brain.

Berwick v Edinburgh Saturday 15 June, 7pm

To be honest we are on the same page regarding Gappmaier`s scoring away from Shielfield, apart from Sheffield has not been good enough and if the club were to make a change then Gappmaier could have few complaints but the Gappmaier we see away from home is not the same Gappmaier we see at home and at the end of the day there are several hundred attending home matches with just several attending away matches. I`m afraid I just dont see Pijper as the answer, yes he did well last season, but I dont see him as the answer this. -
This is an update posted on Facebook earlier today. Thank you so much to all that have sent kind messages wishing Sam well. He is quite uncomfortable at the moment and has not regained consciousness as expected so he is having another brain scan today. We can only hope that there is nothing more than they already were aware of. Thank you again. Claire and Chris

If Gappmaier has no more excuses after 4 years over here, what of Pijper, he`s been racing over here since 2002, and has a lower average than Gappmaier. -
The club statement released by Sheffield doesn't mention change of race day, only that running Sheffield Speedway is impacting on other businesses the current promotion have.

As has already been mentioned Gappmaier ended last season/started this with an average of 4-84, currently he sits on an average of 5-68 so as you say he has increased his average almost all of which will be down to some big home scores, match winning home scores even. His weakness is away from home and zero scores are no good to anybody, I`ve no problem with making a change, Ive no problem in Gappmaier being that change, but please lets hope Theo Pijper is not part of those changes, if he is as good as one or two think surely he would be riding somewhere else by now, he isn't for a reason. -

I was thinking that as I posted though surely there must be one, even a pretendy one who wants to save a bit of money. -

Yes but last Saturday`s admission was a promotional one, you can still use your ticket for this Saturday`s meeting all you have to do is make up the difference, still a good deal IMO. Though I must admit as someone who only went as a one off because of the cheaper price do you not think it was a bit daft to go into the stadium when there was rain around. Of course you could give your ticket to a friend and let them use. -

As this was the first year in a new contract it fare to say we will see SGP at Marketa for a year or two yet. -
Berwick 1 Aaron Summers 2 Jye Etheridge 3 Kevin Doolan 4 Danny Gappmaier 5 NB Jacobsen 6 Coty Garcia 7 Leon Flint Leicester 1 Scott Nicholls 2 Ellis Perks 3 Josh bates 4 Ryan Douglas 5 Ritchie Worrall 6 Jack Thomas 7 Connor Mountain Second leg of the Championship Shield with Berwick trying to over come an 18pt deficit, personally I thinks that is beyond them infact I think Berwick have a job on just to win the meeting. As long as the riders come through their various meetings this week and there are no changes I have the teams down as they were yesterday for the first leg.

As I wasn't there last Saturday I can't comment or judge on track conditions from last Saturday, but what is beyond argument is that meetings are either called off or abandoned far quicker now than in years gone by. Maybe it's the tracks that can no longer hold water, maybe it's the amount of dirt, or lack of, maybe it's the bikes, maybe is a bit of everything, but nowadays people simply don't bother making the effort in going when there is rain around. -

Not sure if the owners at Pardubice are all that keen on getting SGP there, and I don't think BSI are any more keen as well on the idea. As a racing spectacle this year wasn't great for Prague but hopefully next with promised changes things will be better. Still a great weekend -

Personally I would love to see a SGP at Manchester but that would surely have an impact on Cardiff. -
Best wishes to Sam Norris for a full and speedy recovery from what sounds a very nasty injury.
