Ignore the troll. -
Great to see that Leon Flint has qualified into the European Final from today's qualifier in Denmark, he is joined in the Final by fellow Brit Jordan Pallin. Palin qualified with 11pts while Leon finished on 9pts.

After Team GB`s performance last night its a close run thing between tonight's meeting at Berwick and the SON meeting in Wroclaw, at the minute the SON is winning.

The continuing decline of Speedway

It seems that every season we see clubs struggling to make ends meet financially, I dont want to be the profit of doom but it can only be a matter of time until we start losing clubs and along with it supporters to the sport. -
Not at all, its a fact that Lewis Rose now becomes available for other teams to sign.
-
Delighted to see Matej fixed up with Newcastle, hopefully George English will get the best out of him as he did the last time he rode for the Diamonds and I saw for myself he good Kus can be when he is happy and settled. This will mean of course that Lewis Rose becomes available, I wonder if we will see him back with a team fairly soon.

I really like the look of this Team GB team and I think they can win this meeting tonight, and do reasonably well in Wroclaw, then I listen to Alun Rossiter. -

The NSS is a great track and great stadium and hopefully it will be packed out tonight. I like the look of Team GB and should be capable of getting one of the top two positions. Sadly as with last Saturday night there will be teams with only two riders, the teams being Finland, Italy and France, if this competition is to work then part of that should be ALL teams must turn up with three riders, if they cant then they shouldn't be in the competition. -
I understand its all about the rules and regs but its just plain daft that should Newcastle decide to sign Matej Kus, their own rider, they would need to pay a loan fee to Redcar who have decided to sack him.
-
Giving the problems that have landed on Redcar recently I was looking at this fixture hoping for an away win that would continue our push at the top of the league. Now Redcar have strengthened up considerably making them favourites now. Redcar 50 Berwick 40.
-
Little bit over the top using the word cheat, surely there was enough time before the meeting for the powers that be to rule the Newcastle team illegal, or the Berwick promotion to protest, which as far as I know they haven't.
-
Newcastle go with the same team as last night, so Covatti guests and its R/R for Lewis Rose.
-
And after his tales of woe he will be paying £16 like everyone other adult. Strange he wont go to Berwick and pay £15.

On the one hand Lindgren was awful last night, but it would be unfair to judge Lindgren solely on last night as Berwick isn't one of his favourite tracks. -
Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but here is an update on Mitchel Davey http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/16266529.Davey_returns_home_after_lung_bleed_forces_former_Robins_reserve_back_into_hospital/

Ford, and Poole, had the opportunity to sign as many of their own assets and the riders mentioned here at the start of the season, it was their choice not to. Where I agree is the situation they have found themselves in with Chris Holder and the affect it has had on the team but here again I would find it amazing that Poole were unaware of Holders issues regarding his visa before the season started.

From time to time this arguments rears its ugly head, face it people Pearson & Tatum are the best we have and I don`t see anyone around capable of taken their place any time soon. Personally I like their style and hope they continue for a while yet. -
In this situation you have to feel for Peterborough as its not their fault that Kennett injured himself before he rode for his new club. Their re-declaration is quite fair though you still feel a change on the cards.

Rules need looked at as IMO no team should be competing if they cant come with a full team, that team including an Under-21 reserve. It just looks amateurish. -
Kus would come in on an average of 4-76, that IMO makes him an attractive signing, for example should he come into the Newcastle team he would start at reserve and a reserve partnership of Kus and Morris seems a good idea to me.

There always seems to be a back story with Barker and in recent times this chaos is having an effect on the racing. I know it goes on, but there should be no way a rider should expect any club to provide him with the tools of his trade, especially the likes of Barker who you would think would be able to gather some kind of equipment together.
