  1. Going into the second legs IMO Stal Gorzow will over come their 4pt deficit, the second semi is much more hard to predict, Leszno will go to Falubaz as favourites.
  2. The second day rain off facility would only be for the Under-21 event Lambert rode in yesterday, not for a Polish play off meeting that he was due to ride in today. Though in a weird way because of yesterday`s meeting, and today`s rained off league meeting Newcastle have ended up running R/R.
  3. I can`t give you a first hand account on any rumours, though what is accurate is that Worral and Lawson had to be pulled apart in the pits prior to the Berwick v Glasgow meeting a week or two back.
  4. Great to see Jarek Hampel back to the kind of form he was in re-injury from the SWC, but he`s holding Flaubaz together so far, IMO the likes of Dudek and Doyle need to get going or they will face a big deficit going into the second leg.
  5. Rumours suggest Mr Worrall has been doubling up.......when he shouldn't have been. Think Mickey Dyer.
  6. Only a guess but maybe Lambert`s postponement in Poland today a made a difference.
  7. Ok Monday`s and Wednesday`s then, that would still have minimal affect between Premiership and Championship. Obviously there is league racing in Denmark that night but that doesn't seem to cause to much trouble as maybe it once did.
  8. Doubling up isnt all the problem, it only becomes a problem when the riders two clubs end up racing on the same night, moving the Premiership to one night per week racing would at least help in reducing guests as at the minute no Championship club races regularly on Monday nights.
  9. Wouldn't the only way that Newcastle could get a guest facility was to claim Robert Lambert was with holding his services, up side would be the Diamonds get guests, down side is that Lambert would get an automatic ban.
  10. I hear the scenes in the Berwick pits a few weeks ago were quite hilarious.
  11. Looks like it was called off around lunchtime, our time, I would guess it would be just about impossible for Lambert to make it to Newcastle in that time. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/708765/w-lublinie-przegrali-z-pogoda-spotkanie-przelozone-na-czwartek
  12. Looks like Robert Lambert`s meeting in Poland has been postponed due to rain, re-arranged for this Thursday.
  13. It was a comfortable enough win in the end for Berwick though it should be remembered that Newcastle were well in this right up to halfway, in fact they lead early on but it was another welcome win. One positive thing about our away meeting at Ipswich this Thursday is that they should have the use of Nick Morris as Swindon dont have a meeting that night, though Morris will miss our meeting with Sheffield on the 16th of this month.
  14. Can anyone confirm who is taking the No7 position for Berwick, official site says they intend using Jack Parkinson Blackburn but are waiting on an injury update as Jack fell in a meeting in Prague during the week, update site has the No7 position as TBC.

  17. Weather set fine for today, currently dry and bright and forecast to stay that way. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  18. Tomorrow night sees our nearest and dearest pay us a visit, sadly they will be without their top man who is away racing in the World Under-21 Team Championship. Ricky Wells comes into guest while news is awaited on Berwick`s guest to cover Lee Payne, teams as follows. Berwick 1 Nick Morris 2 R/R 3 Jye Etheridge 4 Kevin Doolan 5 David Howe 6 Danny Gappmaier 7 Newcastle 1 Ricky Wells 2 Ashley Morris 3 Stuart Robson 4 Ludvig Lindgren 5 Steve Worrall 6 Ben Hopwood 7 Alfie Bowtell
  19. Reading the posts from people who were there last night it looks like another page has been writing in speedway`s epitaph, one thing is clear though, riders nowadays will not race in wet conditions. IMO the average speedway fan knows when a track is waterlogged and its raining there is little chance of racing, same to when there is heavy during a meeting your average fan will know that an abandonment is coming but the scenes at Peterborough last along with much the same stories around other tracks means many are turning their backs on their clubs. Now, fair enough to Peterborough for knocking £5 off the next meeting but don`t the Peterborough promotion realise that the damage has already been done where some of his customers simply wont return for the next meeting and probably any there after.
  20. Best of luck to Leon for tomorrow, hopefully one of these two links will work for those wanting to watch the Final live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSR7P69PdTY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4TM9ahtgVk
  21. Interesting to see how Berwick go tonight, having won the last three at home that must help with confidence but they haven't done all that well in away meetings at all this season. Workington is relatively similar to Shielfield so if they are going to do well tonight could be the night.
  22. Direct message Scunthorpe Speedway‏ @SpeedwayScunny 2h More We may possibly have a surprise for you regarding tomorrow's Double Header at the EWR. No more clues... but keep your eyes peeled for news. Guess`s anyone
