  1. Point taken but at the end of the day she has a job to do, if she isn`t doing it then her gender shouldn't be the reason to keep her in the team.
  2. Our league campaign over the last few years has been anything between awful and woeful for a variety of reasons. Hopefully this year things will improve, and we may have a trophy to polish, lets wait and see.
  3. Just a small request, you don`t happen to have any pledge or Mr Sheen spare do you by any chance, it seems we have a trophy to polish, where as you don`t.
  4. Oh dear, that "dump" as you call it has always been very favourably complemented on by the guys at Sky when they covered our fixtures.
  5. Giving our record in recent times, a slim pickings mickey mouse trophy will do for starters. I said last night I would reserve judgement on the Berwick team until after the Edinburgh meeting in a couple of weeks, that would be two meetings with Workington, Glasgow and Edinburgh, but so far so good.
  6. Away win https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/22357/berwick-border-trophy-31-24
  7. Berwick have their first away win and trophy of the season.
  8. Completely agree, there was no issues with the track IMO, in fact given the track has been re-laid over the winter it looked and seemed to ride very well. But its very easy to lose a meeting and blame the track, it was the same for both teams.
  9. The straights were widened a couple or three seasons ago, whether that changes how you actually ride the track is another matter.
  10. Beautiful start to Saturday, sunny and not a cloud in the sky.
  11. Berwick`s new reserve Freddie Hodder has been racing today for his NDL side Belle Vue, where he scored 5pts in his sides 38-49 defeat. Lewis Kerr meanwhile races for a Newcastle select side at Redcar tonight.
  12. But on Monday Leon did very well, though I take your point. Having a bike that can actually manage four laps wouldn't be a bad start.
  13. The Comets/Comics pun has been going since the 80`s, normally by the same person, though it is wearing a bit thin now.
  14. Could you think of anyone appropriate that could do it, I could think of one who shouldn't.
  15. Respectively I can`t agree, how can a team get a guest facility for a rider that`s never ridden for them. We either have rules that all clubs abide by or we don`t.
  16. Wrong decision, sadly the SCB/BSPL just have the cahonas anymore.
  17. Facility for Nico Covatti. With regards to our exhaustive efforts to find a cover for our injured number one rider, the Speedway Control Board (SCB) has now granted Plymouth a facility of 28 days for Nico Covatti, who was in our initial team declaration but, unfortunately, crashed whilst racing in the Argentinian Championships, in January. This means that we are now able to use a guest rider to cover Nico’s position for a month. The SCB has acknowledged the current shortage of heat leaders, and of our tireless efforts in trying to source a replacement number one. The club would like to thank the SCB and appreciates the assistance and understanding that it has shown the Plymouth Prowpark Gladiators.
  18. Bastian Borke scored 2+1pts in his sides 51-39 defeat at the hands of home side Poznan.
  19. Plymouth won`t be thrown out of the league.
  20. Deadlines can be moved, there`s no way at all that they wont be in the Championship
  21. If that's the same interview I saw he also claimed that Covatti could be back in May, which given his injuries are very optimistic to say the least.
  22. Nothing like a conspiracy, and this is nothing like a conspiracy. Can`t we just accept that all the wet weather in and around Plymouth has beaten everyone.
