  1. Sheffield announce the signing of Chris Holder.
  2. Another Tigers signing incoming, they`re certainly not messing around at Owlerton.
  3. *TRANSFER WINDOW: The traditional end-of-August transfer cut-off has been replaced by a transfer window, which will close when a club has completed 75 per cent of their regular league matches. This is idiotic, they have created a situation where every club could have a different closure of their transfer window creating an advantage for those who have a late window.
  4. Sheffield confirm Jack Holder and Tai Woffinden as their first two signings.
  5. If clubs now have the option of using a guest or rider replacement to cover any of their top five, I think next season will see a guest fest of incredible proportions.
  6. Unless Oxford have an impressive list of major money sponsorship or have an owner who is happy to pump money in to the club to cover inevitable losses, this looks a receipt for disaster.
  7. Wouldn't be surprised if the Czech GP was Saturday June 15th.
  8. Wonder if Glasgow would have an interest in Leon Flint.
  9. So would I, but as with many riders his commitments in Poland with Gdansk would make racing for a Saturday track very difficult.
  10. Giving the amount of time, money and effort it has taken to get Workington speedway back up and running I feel they were left with little option but to go Championship next year, especially when it is obvious there wont be a third tier league anymore.
  11. Glasgow have had numerous years to take the jump up to the Premiership, when conditions were more favourable to do so. Why would they take the jump now when its a complete shambles in the Premiership. Probably a case of the Premiership needing Glasgow rather than Glasgow needing the Premiership.
  12. Ritchie Worrall was close to joining Berwick a few seasons ago and he would be a decent signing, thing is he has a fixture to attend with the SCB. If that goes the wrong way for him he probably wont be signing for anyone any time soon.
  13. Throwing good money at average riders is never a great idea.
  14. There isn't a Berwick fan out that would take Etheridge over Flint, my own opinion still hasn't changed, even with this managerial change. I hope Leon Flint looks for pastures new for 2024 and move on and up with his career.
  15. If there is to be a middle tier, and I think there will be, Berwick will be in that.
  16. Does anyone know what's going though, I mean anyone. We have a rule book that's interpreted rather than followed, in fact I`d be surprised if all the team managers and promotions actually knew the rules.
  17. Berwick announce Stewart Dickson as new team manager. https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/dicko-takes-charge/
  18. You have to hand it to Robert Lambert, in the last two seasons he has only ridden a handful of meetings, some as a guest, yet he walks away with two league winners medals.
  19. Posted by NK Iversen this morning on Twitter. Status after crash last night. Scans shows nothing is broken but I am pretty battered. They kept me in hospital overnight for observation due to a knock to my chest. Thanks for all your concerns. Haven’t been able to reply to everyone yet
  20. Decent night for Leon at Redcar, he scored 10pts, unfortunately for him Redcar lost both on the night and on aggregate in their KOC match against Scunthorpe.
