  1. Point 2 is about the only thing I agree with, the Redcar Newcastle PL fixture is an original fixture so takes president over this re-arranged one, so it might be worth asking those at Kings Lynn why agree to a Thursday night fixture knowing full well they would be without two of their riders. And no this wouldn't happen on Poland or Sweden, as they run squad systems in the most part.
  2. You are correct, both Lambert and rose will be at Redcar this Thursday, certainly strengthens Newcastle for an away win.
  3. Woffinden seems to be saying if your not doing things my way I`m off, now I don`t know what the exact issues are he has that is stopping him riding for Team GB next year, maybe some kind of statement from Woffinden and/or Team GB would help, I note there is nothing mentioned on the BSPA site.
  4. Kings Lynn at home to Swindon this Thursday night in the EL so its unlikely Robert Lambert will be there.
  5. In his own mind he probably thinks he still is.
  6. http://www.taiwoffinden.com/land/index.html It seems from Tai himself that he has issues with the BSPA and has no intention of riding for another Country, whether you believe him of course is another matter.
  7. Dont see how Woffinden can decide this early he is taken a year out, with nearly a year to go until the next SWC there`s lots that can change between now and then. Right now I think Woffinden is being childish and arrogant.
  8. Not so sure I would want the Berwick team to be a rabble or a bunch of piss artists, I do think its important that the riders of all clubs interact with their fans, something that did happen back in Peter`s days though to be fair most of the Berwick team lived in Berwick so were able to meet the fans on a daily bases, Makovsky, Rymel, Aarnio, Kristiansen etc were all living here for the majority of the season during their time with Berwick.
  9. Its reasonably safe to say that the 8th of July will be the date of the Cardiff GP, I am sure those who have booked already will have taken the option of free cancellation.
  10. Post 4. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=82417
  11. As long as they can track their best team I fancy Newcastle, but they may need the weather on their side as they haven't rode as many meetings as other teams.
  12. Changes to be made for 2017, rules, thinking, standards and plans for the future would do for a start.
  13. A press release from Tai, the BSPA, Wolves or better still all three would clear matters up.
  14. This time last week Wolves, Tai himself were telling everyone about the signing, the BSPA even had it on their site. Now a week later and it seems its all change, why could the BSPA have not put a block on the move last week I mean what do they know now that they didn't know last week, or has there been frantic phone calls from the south coast.
  15. Obviously I`m not a true fan then as I find what Tai has done to be childish and arrogant, as you say a professional would put out a full statement explaining his reasons.
  16. So dont go, I would love to go to a Cardiif GP but I refuse to pay the kind of prices your quoting, for half the money I would pay for flights, hotel, tickets etc I get a weekend in Prague for the GP with decent tickets, reasonable hotel and spending money to.
  17. If Tai`s move has been blocked, where do Wolves go.
  18. Agree with most of what you say, especially on machinery, though there has always been the have and the have nots so right now you will always get the better riders ready and willing to pay the big money for equipment and on tuners. The market place is almost all down to GM`s, hopefully if JRM and the new GTR become successful then with a bit of competition that might help, especially the GTR engine that apparently doesn't need servicing so often.
  19. Devil will be in the details as always but it probably not the wisest thing to do to blurt out a tweet as Tai did earlier. For the sake of Team GB lets hope there`s a re-think over the winter.
  20. It always nice to look back to the past and reminisce, but I wouldn't want to live in the past. Peter makes some very valid points but time and Berwick Speedway has moved on, what I do think is that if the current promotion are going to be here long term then there are issues that need looked at, updated and revamped, maybe a change in thinking and direction if needed.
  21. Never mind that I want to know how he went from Berwick to Peterborough in two and a half hours, hopefully the cameras will have picked him up.
