  1. But under the rules ( remember them ), or by exploiting some technicality, Edinburgh shouldn't be allowed to sign Davey, crap or otherwise.
  2. Irrespective of what ever passport he will hold, I think Mitchel Davey is still a poor signing for Edinburgh.
  3. Berwick`s press and practice night will take place on Saturday March 19th.
  4. For those who might like to sponsor a rider, Liam Carr has put three sponsorship package deals together on his Facebook page.
  5. This is the winning design for the new race jackets Berwick will be using this season. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=505813239601020
  6. I agree with you, but its only verging on cheating if Edinburgh are allowed to exploit their loophole, as you say the BSPA need to enforce the rule that's there now as it seems simple enough to the rest of the clubs in the PL.
  7. Don't think its quite that, more other teams have stuck by the rules governing 3pt riders, now along come Edinburgh and try and sign a rider that doesn't meet the criteria. If Edinburgh do manage to get a passport for Davey you can be sure other clubs will look to do likewise, and you cant blame them.
  8. With sensible admission prices, I hope the EoES will be packed for the two days. Hope everyone enjoys themselves.
  9. If Davey is Edinburgh`s choice, then best of luck to him, but IMO his signing leaves the Monarchs very weak at reserve. Davey has had long enough racing time over here to make some kind of impact, sadly for him he hasn't, and maybe never will. If he is granted his passport, and is entitled to race in the NL, surely thats not what this new rule was designed to do as IMO he will be taking the place of a young British rider, especially at NL level should someone sign him up of course.
  10. Isn't everyone concentrating on one posters dribble, rather than looking forward to what should be two cracking days speedway.
  11. Even with the extra racing I think £50 for two days speedway, at PL level, is a bit steep. At least you`ve put some kind of figure on what could be expected to be the admission price, all we need now is the BSPA to do the same.
  12. Excellent, then I hope a sensible price is found for Matejs transfer to Newcastle and this saga can be put to bed.
  13. That could be Havelock`s next trick, refuse to go to arbitration.
  14. Those who are looking at cheaper hotels, have a look at the Travelodge Peterborough Alwalton, when I am at Peterborough its where I stay and it only a hop, skip and a jump away from the track. Looking at their site the prices seem pretty reasonable for a two night stay, especially if you take the non-refundable option.
  15. Unless there is a rearrangement in Berwicks fixtures, there is real possibility they will only run two home meetings in the month of July.
  16. Just because Peterborough are the hosts, there`s no guarantee they will go on to win. I would like the Panthers to qualify the same as all the other teams, but it makes financial sense to seed the home team through.
  17. IMO the BSPA deserve credit for re-vamping the 4`s, I would've like to have seen the return of qualifiers but maybe this is the next best thing.
  18. Just trying to make things clear for the hard of understanding.
  19. Fixtures out 9am in the morning. I voted front and back No1, though surely we need only worry about the back as it the only view the opposition will be seeing.
  20. You`d think they would've done the decent thing and kept them there.
  21. Polish fixtures was announced last week, so you`d think that would at least make things clearer, then the first draft of PL fixtures was sent to all the clubs, that IMO seems to be the major obstacle as it might need the assistance of the other PL promoters with fixture changes to get Bjerre to fulfill every Peterborough fixture, lots of luck with that.
  22. Can we at least agree that Bjerre now seems to be off Peterborough`s radar.
  23. Wouldn't know about who said what, or who did what, but its clear Matej wants to join Newcastle and Newcastle want to sign Kus, I hope having told Redcar he doesn't want to go there ( and who can blame him ) Redcar either loan him to Newcastle or let his transfer go to arbitration.
