Maybe the decision could've been taken out of Jorgensen`s hands by the team manager or promotion, but like I posted earlier Jorgensen deserved his chance.

And it will say that in the record books will it, if that were the case it would be full of would've could've should`ve, for virtually every PLRC down through the years. Cook is as good as there is at PL level, what he`s like as a person I wouldn't know but he does the business on track and that is what counts most, but it would appear some fans (Berwick in particular) either don't see it or don't want to see it.

Going by our great fountain of knowledge that puts Ivan Mauger with the boys and not the men. Most if not all of the top riders, from Mauger to Rickardsson from Nielsen to Hancock, have made mistakes in big races, its part of racing.
 -
As long as he scores the points he can greet as much as he wants, agree about moving to the next level, he needs to move EL full time and pick up contracts abroad. He signed for Stal Gorzow in Poland but hasn't been used, and when you see the riders he is competing with you can understand why, maybe he would be better looking at one of the lower leagues in Poland and get a regular place in the team each Sunday, where even there the standard in at least as good and possibly better than our PL but from what Cook has said he will double up again next year.
 -
There`s not a team out there that wouldn't have Cook in their team, he has proved himself as one of the best riders in the PL. Ok he has an opinion, and sometimes that opinion is mis-judged but what he does on track seems good enough to me.

What a waste of a thread, of all the forums in all the World, and you have to come onto this one.

Premier League Riders Championship - Sheffield 6th Sep

Both rider crashed on virtually the same bit of track, Bowen left the track by ambulance as was withdrawn from the meeting, Maasen walked back to the pits after treatment and was able to continue in the meeting. Hope both riders are back very soon. -
Your probably right though after the season Jorgensen has had with Berwick it would be difficult to deny him the chance in a meeting like the PLRC.

I agree with you, the rider with the most points at the end of Ht20 should be the Champ, its the same with the PL the team that finishes top with the most points should win the league, but under the we have now rules its all about the Final, and Ostergaard won it so credit to him. -

He scored 12pts in the qualifying heats, that saw he seeded through to the Final. He then won the Final. Dont worry you`ll get there, its a speedway thing. -
	Which proves something at least.

Gomolski at fault, but he shouldn't be booted out the meeting for that, expect the referee to even things up giving half a chance. -

Congratulations to Ulrich Oostergaard on becoming PLRC for 2016. -
No luck for Thomas Jorgensen in today's PLRC at Sheffield, our No1 withdrew from the meeting after his third ride having scored 3pts from his first three rides.

Strength at reserve Unia Leszno have from Pawlicki will be a major factor, also how Pedersen goes after his injury lay off. -

I think its still in the "under consideration" stage, give it a few more years and I am sure they will get there. -
Congratulations to everyone involved at Birmingham Speedway.

Like it or not you have to hand it to Chris Harris who finds a way of qualifying, he is the modern day Andy Smith. -
It looks like, going off photos and messages on Facebook, that Aarnio rode in a league meeting Finland on Saturday.

We keep being told on a yearly bases that promoters are listening and that this year is the big year of change, yet the changes necessary never seem to happen. Many of the changes needed have been highlighted in the Speedway Star magazine in recent weeks, let's see how many are put in place for 2016, sadly those changes needed to secure speedways future may be to late to save Berwick and potentially one of two others though there is some good news at least as it looks like Workington are definite runners for next year. -

Poor meeting where most races were all over by the second bend brightened only by Edward Kennett who provided the only resistance to the home sides domination. It would be unfair to criticize Ruddick & Basford who were always going to be out of their depth. Poor crowd, and there seemed to be an air of resignation that most were watching their last meeting at Shielfield, time will tell if they were.
