  1. http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2620.2&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter I think we all love a happy ending.
  2. http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=100572 Best wishes to Matt Wethers on a speedy recovery.
  3. Matej Kus has pulled out of tomorrows meeting due to injury, he will be replaced by Jonas B Anderson.
  4. Tonight's Workington team. Wells R/R Bach Hansen Howarth Morris Williamson
  5. Sounds like the good people of DHL have lost Anders Thomsen engines.
  6. Dont see what Birmingham did wrong, all the Somerset promotion had to do was spend two minutes on the phone to the Birmingham promotion asking to a couple of their riders. Bit over the top from Birmingham reporting Somerset to the BSPA, makes them look like the school grass, but at the end of it all Birmingham will look after the best interests of Birmingham and if that means stopping Zach & Sam from riding in last nights meeting then so be it, even though IMO you would've thought there was a compromise out there somewhere.
  7. Another fairly predictable beaten, though credit to Doolan & guest Worrall for keeping it decent, another poor score from Hall, for a rider of his experience he should have scored more points than he has especially from the reserve position. Hopefully Jorgensen injury doesn't keep him out of his chance at Sheffield tomorrow in the PLRC. Did you enjoy your trip to Plymouth last night.
  8. I am sure there would've been an argument for the interests of speedway, failing that surely Newcastle could've gone down the dodgy burger route, its well tried and tested in the Armadale area I understand.
  9. Both are probably true, but its difficult to see any rider that would come in a score any points, I am sure Ruddick will do his best, and the experience will do him no harm but it renders the meeting a foregone conclusion and not very attractive to the paying customer.
  10. I am just worried our friend Dyson has made it down in one piece, I am sure we will get a first hand report very soon.
  11. I am sure someone far cleverer than I will put up a link, but Lewis Kerr has just been on our regional news programme Look North. In it he thanked everyone for their support, and also said he will be back racing at the start of 2016.
  12. Fair point though not enough to make a difference surely, maybe Coventry need an electrician to sort out the shoddy wiring.
  13. Agree, it seem nowadays that referees don't like riders making to good a start, but surely if the ref has a rider in a race where he knows that likes to take a gamble IMO the referee is quite entitles to either hold the tapes until the rider moves, then let the tapes up.
  14. That they are, though Len Silver could probably wait till he turns up tomorrow and borrow one of the Berwick second halfers, you`d think Berwick would announce Lambert`s non-appearance, they could even make a joke out of it.
  15. http://ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.1118 Looks like Lykke will be here tomorrow, sorry for the confusion.
  16. I take at some point we will be informed that Robert Lambert and Kasper Lykke wont be turning up tomorrow night. Rye House have applied to the BSPA for a facility to cover Lykke.
  17. If it hadn't been for Craig Cook`s illness we would've had two seven man teams with no guests at Ipswich this evening, something that shouldve been celebrated.
  18. Wont the stadium work being done at Wroclaw be completed by spring 2016.
  19. Mr. Barker will be gutted, he was here last week and no funfair.
  20. Oh no not another bloody multi-username on the Berwick thread, pretty soon it will be harder to find the ones with just a single account.
  21. Riders trying to cheat the starts has gone on for years, in fact years ago it was allowed and certain riders of the day took full advantage. What gets me is that certain riders seem to be warned time and time again during meeting yet very seldom suffer an exclusion. Would it not be better for all referees to warn all riders prior to the meetings that any movement at the tapes will lead to an exclusion, might not cut it out but would IMO reduce it, at the very least we wouldn't get some of the scenes we had at Coventry last night and the sport would be the better for it.
  22. Berwick rode at Barrow`s Park Road in 1981, though they were unable to fulfil their full league fixtures, those fixtures were wiped off and Berwick withdrawn from the league though they did still continue to race in the KOC. Some might wish Mr. Dyson was still there.
