Scunthorpe vs Berwick - Championship - 7/6/24

They won`t. -
New signing. Thoughts with all fans of Kings Lynn at this difficult time.
-
Maybe they`ve found the tin opener.

Leon Flint has scored 8+1 from six rides for his Polish club Czestochowa in their 36-54 home defeat against Krosno. In the same match James Pearson scored 9 from 5.
-
I believe he`s in France for a qualifier along with ex-Berwick Leon Flint.

Plymouth should never have been given a facility in the first place as Plymouth had ample time to a sign a cover IMO. Now they get a facility for the same rider who doesn't seem to fancy Plymouth on a Tuesday night.

Pawlicki dropping to reserve probably saved his rear end, Cook can feel very unfortunate to lose his place. He wont be out of a Premiership team for long.

On a personal note I am delighted to see Tai continuing his successful march out of SGP. Well done Tai.

At the track, rain just about stopped, covers are off and it looks like they've done their job

Bastian Borke has suffered a bruised lung but there is no broken bones, he is under going checks for muscle and ligament damage as he has no feeling in his foot. -
Interesting.

Berwick v Plymouth Championship 18/05/24 7pm
screm replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Didn't Plymouth contest the decision last night, and they have asked the SCB to investigate. Personally I think they are wasting their time. -
Crashed in a tight first turn in Ht1, withdrew after knocking the same ankle that has kept him out recently, there was no definite news announced at the track.

Berwick v Plymouth Championship 18/05/24 7pm

A Berwick defeat tonight is unthinkable. Weather set fair. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819 Been into Shielfield Park this morning and lets just say car parking is going to be an issue tonight with only the grass behind the first corner currently available. Personally I will be leaving my car in the Asda car park and walking up. -
Scunny v Berwick KOC 17.05.24
screm replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well done to Scunthorpe on their win, they can be very proud of their efforts and best of luck in the KOC. As for Berwick I find last nights defeat completely unacceptable, make no mistake this is on the riders and manager as they should've been able to defend an 18pt advantage, but sadly they went out on a whimper. There was much needed changes to the Berwick team for this season, sadly regularly under performing riders weren't part of those changes. -
My names David.

Couldn't disagree with the two of you more, I thought it was an excellent meeting. Don`t mind losing meetings when the racing is as good as that, value for my £18. Credit to Poole on their win and their match winner in Sam Hagon who really came up with the goods, especially after his side went down to six riders.
