  1. Then surely he should get his own kit across to Glasgow, or is he another one of these riders who keeps their best equipment for the European leagues, IMO he owes Glasgow at least to make some kind of effort.
  2. Really, then how is Redcar allowed a guest for Richard Lawson, he is riding for Lakeside.
  3. That being the case, why is Redcar allowed a guest.
  4. Lawson`s EL club, Lakeside are due to ride at Swindon tomorrow night, so that fixture takes priority.
  5. I thought you would've got tired of making a fool of yourself on here, but looking at this post it appears not.
  6. I would look at last weeks Speedway Star and the interview with the recently retired Chris Schramm about his views on where speedway is going.
  7. Tatum was excellent in his year with Berwick, and should be given an appropriate reception for doing so. Anything else would be pathetic, I hope the club will be making that clear through their newsletters.
  8. Mostly agree with this, though a couple of 4`s wins, plus a KOC win in the 90`s were always welcome, but in terms of PL success its certainly been a bit of a barren land. I`ve no doubt someone will be along presently about how a team that wins the league normally loses the most money.
  9. Amazing to read certain posters now realising that resting Carr was going to happen at some stage. Whether Edberg is the answer, I`m not so sure, it will strengthen us in the second reserve position, whether we will now point up more points because of that only time will tell. Edberg has made a career from crashing, and at the end of his last Berwick stint seemed to blame everything rather than himself, always had top notch equipment, so if he has his head sorted out he might just add the few points we need. Every hole`s a goal. Its a contest that some excel in. I`m sure that was never in the thinking at all.
  10. Absolutely, all the teams know the rules before the off, but I still cant get my head around how it is right that a team that finishes sixth can be crowned Champions, of course it happens in other sports and seems to be the modern way.
  11. Seems like Glasgow are going for the no No1 and five reserves this season, giving the loyalty and number to which their supporters attend every meeting, they should be seeing better, though in Berge and Thomsen they have the starters of a half decent team.
  12. You should try Shielfield every Saturday, our presentation needs are more than covered.
  13. After all out rain offs this season, Tatum is having a laugh if he thinks there is any spare money up here. Maybe we could pay any money owed in pies.
  14. Agree with this, the best team is surely the team with the most points when all the PL fixtures have been raced, surely they are the true Champions.
  15. Redcar's chances of reaching the Play-Offs were over long before they ever signed Smith.
  16. Think Palovaara is a signing for next year, at least by then he will have a true average, hopefully from Saturday night till now he will have been able to get some of his own kit over here to Glasgow. Palovaara is only at No1 due to the inadequacies of his new teammates.
  17. Ricky still has many hurdles to get over, but getting home is a huge boost to him and his family. He will continue his rehabilitation in his own surroundings and that can only be a good thing.
  18. I like Kevin Long, never been to Ipswich yet but I have quite a few of the Crashes and Cock up dvds from Rerun and he is a funny guy.
  19. The guy at Wolverhampton was excellent when I was at the British Final this year, agree with others that the guy at King Lynn is hopeless.
  20. Seems a poster trying to collect a few cheap likes, and you have so well done for that. Victor Palovaara did nothing to inspire any Tigers fan last Saturday, its fair to say it probably wouldn't be right to make a definitive decision either way giving track conditions, but four last places, and last by a clear distance does nothing to make me think he get any where near a 7pt average, I hope the kid proves me wrong, but time will tell.
  21. Largely uneventful meeting on a wet track, to be honest we were lucky to get a meeting especially after the constant rain pre-meeting. The new kid at No1 for Glasgow struggled badly throughout, though it probably is a bit unfair to judge him on tonight. I was interested to see how Wolbert got on after the recent changes, his first two was garbage, but his third ride was far better, infact had his teammate not fallen I think he would have won. Still think he should be performing far better than he is. Hopefully better weather is just round the corner, starting at Peterborough tomorrow where I will be heading in the morning.
  22. Only light at the minute but its looking very gloomy all around. If this meeting goes ahead it might be an idea to forgo Mr Barrie`s parade, brilliant though it is, and get the first race started at 7pm prompt. Raining heavier than before.
  23. Think there will be an early call made for this meeting, this rain shows no sign of clearing.
  24. Delighted to see Ashworth finally getting home, he has come along way since his accident and I hope now he is home with his family and in his own space his recovery will continue. Forecast is rain this morning, then brighter during the middle part of the day, before the chance of more rain this evening, lets just hope we get a meeting in, the last thing from a financial or organisational point of view is another rain off and another meeting to re-schedule.
