  1. Laura Morgan comes over has a decent person and I am sure she, along with the rest of the promotion at Workington will be gutted with todays events, sadly there is bound to be one or two fans who wont be there in future, something I`d imagine Workington Speedway can ill afford.
  2. Henry pulling out after one ride certainly didn't help matters, especially as he couldn't be replaced in subsequent rides, though in that position you need your No1 to step up, sadly for Glasgow he didn't.
  3. Glasgow do deserve better from the No1, he really does blow hot and cold, decent score at Ipswich then a shocker at Plymouth, with another shocker today. What are the alternatives though, maybe Glasgow would need to make more than one change to get a winning team.
  4. If we are going for an annoyance Champ, could I be considered.

  6. Yes that's fair enough but there is a bit of difference between a meeting called off when the track is obviously wet and the situation we have at Workington today.
  7. The next time we see a promotion coming out bleating about lack of support, maybe they can be pointed in the direction of this forum and some of the rubbish supporters of teams up and down the Country have to put up with.
  8. But Rye House are happy enough to take a meeting at Berwick on the same day, would Newcastle have had to agree to the postponement of next Saturdays meeting, I mean the fixture was in the diary and has been for some time. I`ve no doubt the fact that Team GB have reached the Final will trotted out as the main reason.
  9. Majority of people sat in cars till it was called off, but there a few who had walked over from Prior or Tweedmouth, feel sorry for those ones but what can you do.
  10. Woodward was a decent enough choice, there wasn't to many complaints before last nights meeting, sadly for Woodward he had a nightmare. For Thursdays Play-Off there will be at least one change with Holder coming in, its likely that Woodward will be the rider to make way.
  11. And for those of us who`s first language in English.
  12. Tell us about it, some poor souls were left outside in the pouring rain while they waited on a decision.
  13. Just tell me nobody had to park in the field opposite the stadium this year and I will be happy.
  14. Good grief, you can slag the track off all you want, the riders fire away, but do you how much bother your in having a go at the burgers.
  15. Oh no here comes the sun, and as we all know the sun and Kings Lynn don't mix.
  16. Leaving the post in the middle of the track is dangerous and unforgivable.
  17. Those odds are rip off, IMO you could virtually name your own price for Team GB to win the whole thing.
  18. Not necessarily, we have tried the more dirt equals more grip plan and look at the kind of racing it got us, pathetic, remember just because the track is on the slick side doesn't mean it cant be grippy. I agree however the track over the last couple of weeks has been ultra slick, and the racing hasn't been as good as earlier in the season, but the track team have to start again after the track was knackered in the meetings against Redcar and then Peterborough, I`m sure they will introduce the grip little by little over the next few weeks and get it back to where it was, you never know by then even Craig Cook might enjoy riding on it.
  19. Damn right they have, instead of hurling insults towards the Monarchs it might be an idea if some clubs supporters were asking them why aren't we looking at what Edinburgh are doing to be so successful and applying it to their own teams.
