  1. I`m going on the 17th, others seem to be a week behind.
  2. Where`s Aljack these days, I miss his insightful posts and opinions on Ipswich Speedway.
  3. That's just about the funniest thing I`ve ever read on here.
  4. Berwick are preparing to stage their biggest meeting of the season next month - the FIM World Championship Grand Prix Qualifier. The event will be staged at Shielfield on Saturday, June 7 for the second time - it was last held at the stadium in 2012. But the line-up for the meeting has yet to be concluded. “We are awaiting the nominations - one rider each from Austria, Hungary and Slovenia,” said Berwick promoter Ryan Anderson. “The two Danish representatives will not be known until after their domestic pre-qualifier on May 15, and Poland has also decided to pre-qualify their riders, and will stage a race-off on May 18.” When known, the final names will be added to those of the already-nominated Chris Harris and Craig Cook (Great Britain), Australia’s Jason Doyle and Josh Grajczonek, Glasgow skipper Theo Pipjer and Mattieu Tresarrieu from France, Germany’s Tobias Kroner. Linis Sundstrom (Sweden) and Tomasz Suchanek of the Czech Republic. Official practice will be at 12.30pm on June 7th, and while it has not yet been approved by the FIM that fans will be allowed in (in the past they have, making a donation to the Speedway
  5. Believe me, and those who know me can verify this, I have been ultra careful with my money for over 40 summers now.
  6. Their commentary is so awful its brilliant, you have to laugh with not at them.
  7. Only if you organise a refund for the Edinburgh fans who were out of pocket from the recent meeting at EOES.
  8. Cant they hang on for a bit, one lonely soul is on their way up to Durham.
  9. Best wishes to Malcolm, his wife friends and family.
  10. Aspegren finished last season with a 6-39 average, why would he be due a reduction. He hasn't got a team for a reason, the reason being he isn't all that good.
  11. What have you got against Schramm, poor bugger always the one to go with you. To good for the PL.
  12. Yes the commentating is terrible but maybe if we laugh along with them rather than laughing at them it might not be so bad, think of it as a deliberate attempt to be as bad as they are.
  13. If your aiming for Durham but end up in Stoke, that's one hell of a re-direction.
  14. There would be no washing out in Berwick today, that's for sure.
  15. Forecast wasn't wrong, rain in the morning, heavy at times. Afternoon scattered showers, some heavy, which is pretty much exactly what happened. I think the right decision was taken giving the amount of rain we had this morning and saving everyone a wasted trip, how annoying would it have been if they didn't call it off early only for the postponement come about 6-45 when we were all sitting in Shielfield.
  16. In Jacks case the best we can hope for is he gets a good throat infection.
  17. And Jacks already making a Horlicks of the commentary.
  18. Would it not be better to go one stop up the line to errrr Newcastle.
  19. No surprise, right now the rain probably isn't quite a heavy as earlier but there is more on the way so the chances of this meeting ever beaten the weather was always small.
  20. But Mr Barrie has always said he does not take part or even read this forum, or am I being naive.
  21. Had the Lambert signing come off then there`s no doubt that Newcastle would've been stronger, with Greaves at reserve though don't look as strong, maybe they will bring in a new reserve after this weekend.
  22. Jensen rides in the SWC for Team GB, you heard it here first.
