  1. Great to hear theres some good racing somewhere in the PL. She mustve started her knitting last night as she missed a helluva a jump from Howarth.
  2. Get what your saying but Dyers on fire right now having just come off the back of an 18pt maximun last friday.Im not saying we should use Dyer but the post I answered had Dyer as a guest for Bellego, which I dont think we can do. Agree with most of your post, but 2 passes all night,I think not.
  3. According to last nights programme Ashworth will be missing for anything up to a month. Berwick can use Dyer next week but only as cover for Ashworth.
  4. And if I should faulter Would you open your heart out to me We should make love not war And live with peace in our hearts With the silencers and the way the bikes are now its mostly when the tracks are patchy that riders struggle it appears.
  5. Agreed Bellego`s been excellent so far this season and will be a huge miss next saturday.
  6. Agree, the track shape hasent and isnt going to change, and the shape the track is now is the same when Edberg was scoring well,I didnt hear to many complaints from him then. If Mr Edberg is un-happy,or is incapable of making the neccessary changes to man or machine that will see him among the points then he should stay at home at weekends and leave it to a rider who can. So its ok to slag off your fellow fans then. Yours Sincerely A turnip brained tunnel visioned thicko
  7. Feeling your pain, improvements need to be made before this season disappears.
  8. Thoughts with Emil and his family. Hope Pedersen & Ward are back very soon.
  9. As others have said the racing was better last night, still quite a few races from the gate, still quite a few strung out,but there was passing particularly on the 2nd bend from Smith, who was Berwicks best rider by far. Fair play to Workington, they only had the lead once all night and if your going to do that then the best time to do it is at the end of Ht15 and thanks to Lawson & Harrison, once they`d made the start that was pretty much that.Excellent night for Lawson, well backed up by Harrison and to a lesser extent Howarth who IMO was lucky to get a Ht9 win after clearly jumping at the start. As I said earlier Smith was excellent,Wethers & Bellego did their jobs,Bellegos score mightve been better had it not been for a blown engine at the tapes in Ht8.The form of Aspegren and once again Edberg must be a concern to the promotion. Yes the racing was better which is a plus, but another home defeat will see more supporters missing meetings as they are doing so already, and the attraction of fancy dress, better music etc wont bring them back. You think, gifted a 2nd place in Ht2 when Tabaka stopped, last in Ht6,yes a decent ride in Ht11 to keep Howarth behind him, then another last in Ht14,a Ht14 he should not of been in IMO as I think he shouldve been replaced by Barrett.
  10. Ashworth could be out for a month, our season maybe all but over by then. On the face of things I agree, but from what to what I wouldnt know.We just need to get the riders out of the start.
  11. What and Berwicks is,the loss of Bach might prove costly, though the form Tabaka has shown at Shielfield this season already could be a trump card.
  12. Nicki Pedersen Tai Woffinden Chris Holder Jerek Hampel
  13. Weatherwise, and its a great start to saturday, sunshine with virtually not a cloud in the sky.Forecast to stay that way to,hopefully there`ll be some good racing tonight with plenty there to see it.No doubt there`ll be more there tonight than there was last week as Workington normally bring over a fair few, plus the Comets will be looking at this meeting as a decent chance of an away win.
  14. Aparently its so the rest of the country watching on Sky say "Gee those Berwick fans are great". Believe me if the meeting is of the standard of the racing we`ve had so far at Shielfield, theres no amount of fancy dress that will stop the critisism on here. The needle mightve got stuck but its all about the on track action that will determine if the meeting is a success or not.
  15. Giving Taffys normal get upon a Saturday, how would anyone tell the difference if he was in fancy dress or not.
  16. How true,as everyone knows Berwick upon Tweed is in England, and let us all be thankful for that.
  17. Its a cheap shot right enough, and will pander to a certain section of the Berwick support, but come on Im sure you`ve been called far worse. As for the Mods getting involved,I think not, anyway after what you posted the other day in one of the Redcar threads about the alleged habits of one of their riders,Id have thought the less time the Mods spend looking at the PL section the better for you.
  18. Excellent news, though this might upset one of our merry troop as they see poster advertising as outdated,my own opinion is something is better than nothing.Hopefully this will get that extra few along to Shielfield each and every Saturday night.
  19. Thats quite incredible, you have a fan who used to go to Berwick but now,for whatever reason goes to Glasgow, thats worrying is it not. They are not alone, another poster has been once and might not go back, some dont go atall.
  20. If its Cook & Dyer for Lawson & Mills it could get quite untidy for the home team.
  21. Steady on there friend, you`ll be having the righteous of the Berwick threads at you. Just for the record I completely agree with you.
