  1. According to the Berwick offical site,Aspegren was taken ill at the airport yesterday before he boarded his flight and was advised not to fly.
  2. Emil Sayfudinov Nicki Pedersen Greg Hancock NK Iversen
  3. And there was you posting a few weeks ago that North wouldnt ride in the PL again.
  4. How many times have we said that though. Disappointing result for Berwick, even without Aspegren I thought we would get at least something, but it wasnt to be.Infact this meeting pretty much sums up this season, and probably the last few seasons, where we promise so much but deliver so little. Berwick started off so well,Bellego for example winning his 1st two rides, yet somehow we cant continue that into the second half of the meeting.Maybe just maybe some of our riders feel all to comfortable and lack the fire in their bellies that make winners.
  5. It seems Aspegren was taking ill on the flight over from Sweden this morning.
  6. Oh why now,I hoping our new found confidence will see us through.I take it Aspegren was hurt last night in Sweden,no announcement on the official site. Important that our team manager gets the right riders in the right races.
  7. Berwick have won at Plymouth before, and will never have a better chance to do so again tonight.Plymouth are severely weakened by the loss of Bech and Berwick must capitilise upon that weakness. Plymouth 44 Berwick 48.
  8. Got my tickets yesterday,2 standing tickets for £30 is excellent value IMO.I`ll be going to Peterborough to the 4s the day before and Im expecting to pay more for that. This will be my 1st meeting at Kings Lynn and Im really looking forward to it.
  9. Must admit,I saw Schramm riding last saturday for Plymouth and he looked like his best days were long gone. However George English has this knack of getting the very best out of his riders most of the time,if he can with Schramm then Newcastle will go on to win the PL,as I believe they did last season.....I take on board Scunthorpe winning the play-offs but Newcastle finished top and so were the best team in the PL.
  10. Mr Barrie has never missed a meeting all season, and has been on the mic every meeting he`s been there, either on his own or making the odd announcement during a meeting. And Im sure he`ll be delighted to read he`s running the meetings now, thought the ref did that.
  11. As things stand right now our last home meeting will be August 31st.
  12. My thoughts excatly,I can well understand Jake`s disapointment at losing his place at Sheffield, but surely racing at NL level will see Knight winning races, which will restore his confidence and should make him a better rider the next time a PL track comes calling whether it be a fulltime signing or as a NL guest. One step back to take two steps forward.
  13. Yes your right, smart money seems to be on Adam Roynon but I guess we`ll know tomorrow.
  14. Sad to hear a young GB rider has decided to give speedway a break, short term or long.
  15. Its typical, over the last month or so,that now we win 2 meetings on the bounce,so should go to Plymouth next friday looking for more away points, that we have a blank saturday next week, there was a real chance to get a bit of momentum into our season.
  16. Im not intending to go over the arguements again, but injustice.....really.
  17. I submit a plea to the BSPA that we should make the PL a 4TT competition,as we have this 4TT stuff cracked.
  18. Edward Kennetts GP Qualifier has been rained off for a 2nd time,it wont be staged tomorrow.
  19. Dont think Newcastle would be able to get the stadium at such short notice, they do have a certain amount of Monday meetings, but they wouldve been agreed with the owners at the start of the season.
  20. Nicki Barrett suffered a dislocated shoulder last night, but thankfully no broken bones.
  21. Offical Glasgow site is reporting Starke rides after his meeting at Buxton was called off this morning.
  22. No broken ankle for Alex,he has damaged ankle ligaments which may keep him out for 2 weeks.
