The group have been in contact with people from Save Coventry since day one, the guys involved in getting Oxford back, as well as the BSPL / Phil Morris via Brian Connolly, with whom they are working very closely. I don't follow any of the "save" groups on TwitterX (only Cov, I probably should follow the rest) but I generally always get to hear about any need for action through re-tweets and then post them on here under the relevant topic. So it does appear that the save Swindon reach is not as far as some of the others i.e. Coventry, Arena, Rye House etc. Which I do get to heat about... Just an observation. Triple.H.
4 hours ago, IainB said: The thing is... I saw something on TwitterX from the save Swindon group with a link saying see our response to Studley Grange and The Abbey and a call to action, I followed the link, did as they suggested and register an account with Swindon Council so I could send my objections in only to find that the deadline for responses had passed sometime ago. I was in the process of copying the links to this topic for others to do the same. Without wishing to be disrespectful the save Swindon group seem to be a bit disorganised compared to other "Save" groups, Coventry being the gold standard. I'm sure they're doing their best but the lack of comments on this forum regarding Swindon tells it's own story really. I know i'm a bit biased as an Oxford supporter, but IMO they must be the Gold standard as they won. Good luck to all groups trying to resurrect stadia and clubs.
