Disagree…. You want your number 6 to be able to go out there and pressure the other teams second strings

Cook was ok on what I believe is his first visit but 6 rides and 6 points isn’t good enough … he beat a clearly out of his depth Thompson for 3 of those and beat Hume once …. Never gave up but should do better

That's very harsh, he was their best rider given his lack of experience at Foxhall and first year in premiership. He was pressuring riders ahead, made a couple of good starts and passed as well. He was only passed by iversen in heat 9 because he was trying to overhaul Rew and made a mistake.  Peterborough's weaknesses are elsewhere.

If it was his first ever visit then I'm not sure 'he should do better' really. Would you really expect him to beat any of Ippo's top four?

Well we are missing the big elephant in the room here!.....

..... Cook is also a Poole rider and we know Gavan has issue with them! :D I bet he is secretly gutted that Cook got as many as 6!

So Cook should do better from his 6 rides on first visit,,, so from that Hume must have been awful,, as he only got 4 from his 6 rides,,, and he has been there plenty of times

I thought Cook looked a tidy little rider and was on the pace and improved with each ride, he certainly tried harder then most of his team mates that's for sure

At least Joe has been snapped up by Birmingham so should give him some extra race time, still don't think he's strong enough for the top league but there can't be many other options available i suppose, then again you can afford to carry both reserves to a certain degree if the top 3 plus Rew ride like they did last night.

I said Cook rode well but yes I would hope our number 6 if he had six rides away from home would hopefully do better than an average of a point a race

And yes Hume to only get 4 was very disappointing he can’t be doing that against stronger opposition

For Lisa to say it’s a Poole thing is pretty pathetic

Haha, it's true though. The past shows us that.

Good to see Rew have a great meeting - the rest pretty much as expected other than Basso - is he demoralised or something? Going backwards in the scoring. Expected a bit more from Hans although he had 2 Ret's it seems or was that just pulling up when  in last?

Have to feel for Danyon a bit as he seems to take the R/R in heat 1 and thats always likely to be a 1 or a 0 (although I am aware he popped out for a 5-1 the other week in heat 1) As ever with reserves its their programmed rides I take note of and for DH it was 4+1 from 4

Utter rubbish, he wasn’t even team manager until press and practice.

Oh well - no more than the squit that you spout :D

And … given that it was a poor looking team, he obviously didn’t exercise his best judgement ;)

Polish U24 League... like any other youngster with aspirations to progress in Speedway. JT, his brother and some of our other youngsters have been treated like 5h1te this season!

He wanted other riders in the team and that was essentially black balled by good old buster, with that in mind he didn’t want too be team manager and as previously stated it was only the morning of P&P that he agreed too do it so rob Lyon in my opinion isn’t too blame for anything at all! Wouldn’t blame him if he walked away

Give it a rest the Poole thing is tiresome

Once again can’t stand Poole as a club for all the past stunts they pulled

Can’t stand some of your supporters on here because they are blinkered morons who actually don’t understand the sport and can’t see past their own club

Never have I had anything against their riders just because I can’t stand other areas

Ben Cook is a neat and tidy rider and is doing ok for his first season in the top flight though his home scores have been awful

He did ok at Foxhall and was one of Peterborough’s better riders which wasn’t saying much

My point that you clearly missed was he scored 6 from 6 … yes he was on the pace no question but yes I thought before the meeting he had the potential to win heat 2 and to also cause Rew a few problems but Rew was awesome

I’d hope my number 6 could get 6 from 4 not 6 from 6 but no Cook wasn’t the issue for Peterborough last night

At Belle Vue he beat Brennan and at Leicester he beat Lawson twice and Harris once …. I don’t think it was beyond the realms of possibility he couldn’t have beaten Rew and certainly had the potential to win heat 2

I think in 5 maybe 6 matches he has won heat 2 once … the way the team is built he needs to be winning more of those he is a championship heat leader

But he is doing an ok job in a side that is pretty pathetic to be fair

Yes, he just gave up rather than have any real issue.

If hes as good as Poole fans say he is, he should adapt quicker to tracks hes not ridden before especially tracks that are a very similar shape to Wimbourne Rd,  he was poor at Monmore even though he had ridden there before he gets around Plymouth ok that's smaller than Wolves,  IMO he needs to move away from the home comfort of WR if he wants to progress to the level Keynan Rew is at now,

It doesnt help him being in a team as poor and lacking in confidence as Peterborough are, it would of been a bonus for him to have Holder around at least  to seek advice from,he cannot be enjoying his speedway when hes with Peterborough  , i would say now as a guess that next season he will most likely want to be at somewhere like BV where he looked far more at ease and his confidence would be higher

Strangely enough I don't agree! :D In the Champ he has been doing well home and away. Covering well for Steve Worrall's lack of form atm.

Basso is more of a concern as he has been doing very well for Glasgow, so it is strange he is struggling for Peterborough so much.

Basso was off remember at the end of last season and then I imagined was promised the world to come back, now it’s turned out the way it has he will be feeling pretty fed up

Maybe he is trying to get sacked and then sign for someone else! Basso been screwed over by whichever Champ promoters decided not to do 2H and 2A. As he wasn't going to do Prem if that went ahead.

Can anyone else hear the grinding of teeth!!? Ha ha. Fair play Gav.  Due to visa issues this is the first year that Ben Cook could race in more than one league.

As many say your Poole blinkered for sure you would defend Putin's actions if he was a Poole Pirate !!
