old bob at herne bay Posted yesterday at 07:25 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:25 PM What a useless TM the Great Britain team have ...... Tim Brennan at reserve not used once despite Ellis and Flint not troubling the scorers. Sad state of affairs when the reserve isn't tried at all when there are 2 riders struggling. Result pretty much as expected from Great Britain. Lack World Class riders outside of Lambo and Bewlay. Journeyman PL riders really don't cut the mustard at this level. The temporary track clearly not suiting the Polish riders, who aside from Smartslick really don't look all that special. oh yes... well done australia 😞
SPEEDY69 Posted yesterday at 07:26 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:26 PM Brennan should have had a ride, for Flint or Ellis. Nicki gave his reserve a go, fair play.
Fozzie4388 Posted yesterday at 07:33 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:33 PM When's the next World Cup (not speedway of nations) Whenever it is surely our team will be by then Lambert Bewley Cairns Rushen Ellis (GB set up seem to love him despite been rubbishe every time so he'll get in still). 1

Swap Doyle and Kurtz, surely? A team could save their best rider for the last heat, but it's all over by then? I'm not sure the managers looked at the other teams picks before declaring theirs, to try & be more tactical.

Second one is not in English, not moaning just pointing it out. Does anyone have the secret for the first link? I'm watching it right now and it's absolutely perfect. Not sure why you couldn't get it to work. As for the second one not being English, do you ever watch the Polish league racing? It's not English either. Remember these are free links...

When a reserve can have as many rides as a team man, doesn't do much harm.

ytsejam Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM Just when you think Speedway can't sink to any lower level, you get the World Cup on a pathetic, non passing temporary track which provided absolutely no excitement (or passing) in 18 out of the 20 races!! (the only excitement being the only pass for the lead all night by Thomson on Zmarzlik and Michelsen's hissy fit!). Pathetic waste of 2 1/2 hours!! THE DEAN MACHINE Posted yesterday at 07:50 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:50 PM What happened to Dudek at the end, taken out of his last ride and didn’t come out on parade at the end or get his medal ?

The Poles always do feel as if they are shoehorned into a team concept.. Riding for themselves does appear to interest them more...
