Danyon guested for Oxford last night so good to see they are keeping busy over the 3 week break

It’s  a very disjointed season these days for the lesser riders,I think that’s the reason for their inconsistency riding weeks apart.Sady not going to get any better

The sport is serious decline in UK.Dont know the answer though.Strange decisions seem to being made in the eyes of many supporters, but at the end of the day the Promotions are the ones with the money invested.Sporadic fixture list will kill off the sport.

Agree, we need weekly speedway or at least fortnightly, having 3 -4 week gaps, folk will find something else to do with their time and money

They already have, despite the best Spring weather for many years.

Shortening the Championship season from April to August would push the same number of meetings into a shorter timescale and give the impression of a busier calendar, and more regular fixtures for fans.

Once you get to September the weather is a lottery.

Rider situation prevents shorter more regular season.Rethink needed but won’t happen.

Stewart Dickson complaining in the Speedway mag and on frustration on gap in fixtures and rightly so

Confidence win over Poole then nowt fir three weeks and Scunny will not be easy with Lambert and Harrison likely as reserves no matter who Berwick have for Wood

Wonder if Berwick were in favour of 2H and 2A ? Wouldn't think so with the Oxford connection

According to the unofficial averages, Kildemand will get a new average of 7.71 next Saturday. That will leave Berwick 2.15 under the points limit. Will they look to strengthen up?

Who would they charge and who with. The team has the potential when it’s all firing on the same night but 33/40 from three riders was concerning last night. Had one of the top 3 had an off night or bike issues it would have been a complete hammering. If nothing else the lower end of the team needs to be picking up a few more points away from home. We are missing wood but 3 points between 3 riders lost the meeting last night.

For curiosity sake what average would Nick Morris come back on? Would he come back on his old average or would he be reassessed? If he is reassessed could Hagon or Hume make way for him, Stuart isn't afraid to be ruthless with changes and if I remember correctly he was close with Nick

Drop the injured Wood, replace with a 4 point rider, this allows Hagon to drop to reserve.

When Wood is fit again, can go to Edinburgh to replace Parker? I know it's not Berwick's prerogative to worry about Edinburgh strengthening up, but they'd have the knowledge a rider they are dropping (who has done nothing wrong) won't be without a team place for long, as I'm sure no club likes to leave a rider on the sidelines.

Reassessing the average of a rider returning from a ban would be the most British speedway ruling ever.
