Wow.

The ACU are just as bad, I called them over a month ago about getting a licence, got through to ACU finance(whatever that is )who put me through to the licensing but nobody answered, called again 4 times, still nobody answered, left a message to call me back with name and number as I needed a licence, still waiting and I’m not the only one and they share the building with British speedway

Then how can he be the SCB Co-ordinator ? Speedway summed up right there

He's going to have a hell of an in tray when he gets back... there's so many riders to ban for missing meetings!

No one walked away.  They'd just be paid by the new company who have taken on the business as a going concern.

People trying to make problems that don't exist.

I'm sorry but legally this is not the case. The business does not exist from the 17th June 2025, as stated at Companies House " Final Gazette dissolved via compulsory strike-off ". Therefore, there is not a company to be "taken on the business as a going". Compulsory strike off means they have debts than are unable to be paid by existing assets.

Why do you keep bringing these things up,  Everything must be ok behind the scenes ,as they would have not been allowed to restart. the comets have survived "the issue"  put it to bed and get behind the comets,  get through this season and hopefully a bright future UTC

All I try to do is explain the legal standing, nothing more. Its just a case of most fans do not know where to look to find out the truth.

I do go to Workington at least once a season but its one of the harder tracks for me to reach. Now its a later start time I have to factor in a hotel as the meeting now starts after the last train to London departs. 3pm starts mean I could just about make the final train to London and have a day trip.
