So really he could only come in for Lawson anyway.

Not a chance, would have to drop multiple riders to make the team fit. Yes Ben Cook is a stronger rider than Kerr. Yes Poole are weaker than last season. But they can't ignore the points limit, which many fans don't seem to get. Not just in the forum on fb too.

It will be interesting to see how he goes in the u21s. He will be riding against the likes of the Thompson twins, Hagon, Killeen, Mulford etc who are riding in the CL at the mo. It will be a good yardstick as to where he his at that level.

No they wont, he only has to be better than Marson which should be easily achievable.

That's not entirely true, of Cairns is better than Marson, but weaker than every other 2 pointer, then Poole would've made a mistake holding a team place open for him. However I don't think that would happen.

He rode against a few of them last season in the u19 Final at Oxford won his first 2 races then had a crash and withdrew.

No from all we know Cairns is a massive step up from most if not all the current 2 pointers.

I've seen cairns ride a couple of times and he is a very good prospect, great style on the bike and top notch equipment. Hopefully he doesn't go the way of boughen and lose his way probably to much expected from him without gaining enough experience.

You forgot the word POTENTIALLY. Young Cairns looks a very good prospect, I've seen him ride a few times. But don't start believing he's the new messiah until he's earned the right while dining at the big boys table. Same with Rushen, the two of them are great prospects but league racing and the pressure that they'll be under is a different level to what they've faced so far. I'd completely forgotten his name and remembered it straight after posting. Look at Kyle Bickley he win everything as a kid, where's he now ? So much pressure and anticipation put on his shoulders. Maybe in a few years he'll comeback, who knows. Edited Tuesday at 05:57 PM by Triple.H. Poor memory

Time will tell. Edited Tuesday at 07:31 PM by Triple.H.

Purchased the week of the release and still have it. Worn out. Listen to it on Spotify regularly, along with CRIME, even in the quietest moments and Breakfast in America. Saw them in 74 on the Crime tour at Oxford.
