He was signed on a short term contract and as it happens is still listed in the latest BSPL 1-7 for 1st July!🙂

I had wondered. Should be fine for his first meeting for you. Having never seen him ride, i'm looking forward to seeing how he gets on. szkocjasid
With neither Poole or Oxford having a match on Wednesday, thought that would've been the perfect time for their BSN semi final! How often will both Wednesday clubs have a free Wednesday? Totally understand Oxford not hosting their leg as they were at home in the Prem yesterday, but why couldn't Poole host the first leg? Apart from waiting for Cairns to turn 16, which is a poor excuse for not racing imo. Can see all the finals being raced at the end of the season again, always thought it'd be better to have them spread out.
scottyfan
To go off topic slightly, There was a post on Facebook this morning about an auction of T-shirts owned by the late Peter Grove. I was shocked to find out Peter had passed away. I apologise if someone posted it previously on here, but how long ago did Peter pass away? I have known him for many years and I am very saddened to hear of his passing. Many thanks. A very sad week. Poole want to kick on with meetings but seems other teams aren't https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/25290018.danny-ford-frustrated-breaks-poole-pirates-schedule/ Quote PIRATES promoter Danny Ford admitted his frustration at the breaks in the side’s schedule at the moment, saying he has been trying to organise Poole’s semifinals but has ‘had no cooperation’. “It is frustrating. And it's the same problem we face every year. “I've been trying to get in these dates for KO Cup and BSN. Unfortunately, I'm having no luck at the minute, and it's going to be a mad rush at the end of the year. “But we've done everything we can to get those fixtures booked in. I'm just not getting any cooperation at the minute. “So, yeah, I'm anticipating a bit of a busy September and October once again, which is unfortunate, but it’s kind of out of our control at the minute.”
