Realistically regarding the maths, it could be:- Jack Smith 3.73, Connor Coles 3.33 or Ben Trigger 3.08.

Anyone of these three would be a good investment and reliable scores.

you could always ask Poole to use w cairns until he is 16 then he is off to the

 MX track .

klindt not having a good season  ! try workington in 2018  treble winner , looking forward to seeing him ay worky . gave his all for the club   Zagar has a wee rest if he is at the back. .

Did you read my post properly?

from a quick google search he averaged 7.78 with bonus points that season, if you class that as a stand out season as a number one then good on you. But most would disagree.

Matej Zagar is a better rider than Klindt and would comfortably average more than him in the championship.

Is he still a better rider at 41?  Klindt is younger.

Does it matter? Bjarne Pedersen averaged near 10 for Plymouth and he was over 40 and way, way past his peak . Zagar would be nigh on unbeatable around Plymouth.

will end the subject there as he hasn't signed and Klindt has.

I think Klindt is cheaper .

Bjarne was a class act, however his average he finished with was less than 9. It was 8.82.

Fair enough, thought was more.

I think Klindt will be a steady enough signing , just can't see him being a 9-10 pt number one whereas its hard for me to see Zagar averaging less than that in this league.

As you say though, Zagar wasn't in the mix so a pointless discussion.

There's been quite a lot of talk about Klindt vs Zagar (who's better) plus also how Klindt is far superior to MPT.

But because of the averages the questions should really be, which would be better:

Zagar & 3.00 rider

Klindt & 3.92 rider

MPT & 6.00 rider.

I would have gone for MPT & another second string, but I don't know if that was ever in their plans.

Although I suppose if they end up going with Ben Trigger as the last rider, then both Zagar & Klindt would've fitted, so it does become a relevant question, who'd be better Zagar or Klindt?

Re the zagar/klint debate, its not who could score the most, its who helps the club maintain the team budget/survival costs,  klint lives in the uk so normal travel money needed,  where you would have to fly zagar in or pay costs to stay between premiership and championship meeting . So imo klint wins, but won't score 12-15 points a meeting everytime, but will get 9/10 from 5 rides most times
