 It might be an odd question, but is there any point to all this !!!!

It's like watching the funeral of speedway. One last ride before we go, so to speak !!!!

Yes I thought that too - rode for Eastbourne a  while back if its the same Timo ?

He’s not Finnish. He’s still riding. He’s taking part in this non event tonight 😳

They thought they would get a big crowd. Problem is the FIM  (or whoever) have blunted the competitive edge of these world championships to the point of making them meaningless.

Well, if nobody bid to stage these events the FIM would have to rethink

The lack of supporters in the stadium will do nothing to raise any interest in the competition and frankly putting this on live t v is an embarrassment.  Anyone who is foolish enough to have paid TNT or whoever it is who expects to be paid for that live performance will be well disappointed. The new promotional team who have taken over from WBD have a lot to do to generate a modicum of interest let alone achieve a level of interest that provides a return on the investment.
