Any chance we can get rid of the chairs on the backstraight? About 500 chairs spread between 10 people taking up standing room of potentially 100 folk.

Might be my first and last meeting for the season it this continues.

At Workington supporters have folding chairs which the use between races and stand against the wooden fence during races. This means that the second row of spectators are about three feet back. It's not even as if they're elderly and need a seat.

There is no doubt you have a good team, whether it is good enough or will need some adjustment time will tell but if I would say you need one good reserve, so maybe it would have to be a double change but to want change after two meetings is crazy, let the team settle and riders will improve. If you have riders still struggling after a few matches then maybe do it then. The other thing to consider is Edinburgh maybe better than some think.

Glasgow have planned their team for the top 5 to score the majority of the points, I don't see them changing that philosophy. If the season goes on & they were struggling, it could be that they'd swap round 2.00 riders?

But like you say, madness to be thinking about changes after 2 Challenge matches.

2 hours it took me to get back to Paisley they also closed a chunk of the 77  absolute shambles.

Out of interest did you see anyone actually working because I certainly didn’t.

Yep, we were headed to the same place. I stopped following the diversions and went in through Glasgow which was a little less stagnant.

Not a soul working! Quite an extensive bit of road to be closed for just one night too.. By the looks, the road closed at 9.55 - kicking myself for not bolting towards the exit sooner and could have perhaps missed it. Will check for road closures next time 🫣.

If it is the same shambles next week best way to go is on to Maryhill Road heading towards Bearsden through Bearsden follow the Road to Hardgate and over the Erskine Bridge.

You don't have to be elderly to need a seat, though.

The ones in front of me certainly didn't look as if they needed a seat, O.K. looks can be deceiving.

Go down sooner than if it’s that much of a problem for you. People twine and moan about anything.

WOW, ''got out of jail free card'' with that performance, won on AGG, but only top 3 riders scoring points, we cant have that every home match,we will get stuffed against better teams (eg Poole).OK it was the first home match but we couldnt get out the gate, and possibly the Ref kept them waiting to long on Green Light.

We have until June to get things sorted, by then we could be out of the KO CUP and BSN FINAL.

If riders are not performing,we need to change the team, we cant have passengers, Take note LEON FLINT

Also BOUGHEN ,PERRY and HODDER Need to up their game.

Get a grip and stop panicking. Riding at four and paired with the mercurial Thompson is a hard gig for Flint and scoring up to hide GSA may prove to be a big ask. Perry and Hodder need time but the wisdom of having two 2.00 reserves was always questionable. Boughen is carrying an injury and will be a better rider once he is back to full fitness

Maybe wait until the actual season has started? I haven't even collected my season ticket yet.

Perry & Hodder are doing their jobs. When a team signs 2 x 2.00 riders it's not the reserves job to win them meetings.

Automated starts this year, the ref just presses the green light & the tapes are released after a random delay
